The Nice - Swivel Recliner Chair And Matching Footstool In Chestnut Genuine Leather

First impressions are that this chair is very comfortable, its well made and the leather is nice and smooth. Swivel and recline work well.I don't generally buy comfortable furniture, I believe it can lead to the Sin of Sloth. So most of my alternative seating options are sharp, uncomfortable or with awkward seating positions. I have bought this chair to master the Sin of Temptation, so far I am failing, it is very comfortable to sit in, I was tempted and I gave in.Assembly is straightforward but a bit awkward if there's only one of you to do the assembling. I had to use a hammer at one point, hammers are not included in the build kit but everything else you need is. It took me around an hour and half, one of the pins needed to be hammered in. The other one slipped in beautifully. The arm rest screws are a bit awkward as you can't see to align the holes all that easily. This is what took most of the 90 minutes.The recline screw is a bit awkward to reach whilst actually sitting on the chair, maybe if you 10ft arms it would be easy, but it's easy enough to push it to the correct position and tighten it if you have a particular recline position you want to set it to. Otherwise it moves backwards and forwards very nicely if you don't want a set position.Delivery was via DPD, for a change they did manage to find the house, although the driver wasn't very happy about that as he doesn't like carrying heavy things down our very long path from the road. He wasn't going to put the very large box in the house, just on the doorstep, maybe this is covid related.

It doesn't appear to be leather. I've had many leather items and they have all had the smell of leather. Taking this chair out of the box there was no smell at all. This is also the first item of "leather' that didn't come with care instructions.

Quality product. Chair bought to replace old recliner. This was a considered purchase for us but pleased we did pay that extra as it shows in the quality. By far the best recliner - good quality upholstery and a sturdy well made frame. Its heavy and well put together. Instructions for assembly are easy to follow. It did take two of us to put the arms on in order to align for the bolts but this was due to the padding on the chair. It’s very comfortable with good back support. Definitely worth paying that little extra.

Bought two of these chairs January 2023. The colour had faded badly. The photo is where my head goes. The arms are doing the same. Asked the seller if they could provide the dye but they said no. Also then stated they would not do anything as I had cleaned the chair with a quality leather cleaner. However the 2nd chair was for my neighbour and that one hasn't been cleaned but is fading the same. Not worth the money.

Arrived well ahead of ETA. Assembly fairly straight forward all screws and tools of good quality with simple instructions . If like me you have mobility problems I suggest an able-bodied assistant is a must this is quite a heavy item and some of the assembly would suit a contortionist. The chair itself looks of good quality and sturdy construction, but leather ??? my definition of leather is animal hide I would like to meet the beast this came from,The seat is fairly high, higher than most I have tried which pleases me because its easier to rise from . In conclusion I would recommend this item . Long lasting ? only time will tell but it looks promising

Brought two leather chairs, this one and a cheaper one and what I difference. This is a luxury chair, well made, easy to put together, lovely and comfortable and beautiful colour.Lovely leather finish with no marks in the leather like done chairs.Will buy another one if required.

After losing a lot of weight I wanted a replacement for my old chair and I like this style and this is very "Nice" I am very Grateful to Morris Living, for their help in a missing part, which was delivered promptly the next day.I am going to get some leather cream to keep the leather to top condition.So I would be pleased to to recommend this chair to anyone who appreciates a quality leather chair.
