Osprey Europe Men's Syncro 12, Black, One Size

United States buyer here. I was unsure about this purchase, since it was Osprey Europe. I wasn’t sure if it was different then the Osprey US version. The price was much less then the US version, so I took the chance. This was a great purchase, and it’s the real deal! The only difference in this pack, and the US version is that this one did not come with the hydration bladder. It does come with the rain cover. This was a great buy at a huge savings. You will not be disappointed. I am a 5’6 tall 145 lb female, and this pack fits me well.

This is a well-made and well-designed pack….but it was missing the bladder. Judging from one of the other recent reviews, mine wasn’t the only one missing the bladder. The tags on the pack specifically say that “water reservoir is included”. It seems this seller may be surreptitiously removing the bladders and selling them separately. Because they’re third party sellers, there’s no way for Amazon to get them to send the bladders. After half hour of messaging, I got Amazon to issue a partial credit that I used to purchase a bladder from Osprey on Amazon. Kudos to Amazon, but beware, this great price may not include the bladder….

Small pack! This pack is only good for summer when you don’t have a lot of gear to carry. I wonder if I can even fit a jacket inside of it. I use it for my 3 L water bottle and it works well even though it’s advertised as a 2 L pack. The fact that I use it for a 3 L water bottle doesn’t affect that I can only put in one jacket and a little food. I think I will buy another pack for winter when I need to carry pants and a coat and a hat and gloves.
