Vacuum bags work perfect
These are perfect for my yarn business! I use them to pack yarn and vacuum it down to fit in flat rate packing boxes to save on shipping costs. The seal is easy to zip close and the suction for the vacuum lines up perfectly and works fast every time.

Over seas
The ones that work are wonderful but they don’t always hold air. I’d say one to two in each box I order won’t hold air.Very durable have traveled with them before. And still was flat when I got to Ireland. Sure save room. I put my pump in my suitcase for the trip home. Works like a charm.

It works very well
It works well. An adult down jacket looks like a piece of cardboard after pumping out the air from the bag

Good bags overall, but warranty is misleading
I bought these bags about four years ago. It was a pack of the medium size ones and they were enough to fit some old blankets and clothes that I had. They've held up pretty well since, except for one that I discovered today had re-inflated. I didn't know about the lifetime warranty when I bought them but just noticed the text on the bags. It claims there's a lifetime warranty and to visit their site spacesaverbags.com but it is not a valid website (anymore). So, I give it 3 stars for the misleading lifetime guarantee claim. Maybe they've removed that text on what they currently sell now, but just in case it says somewhere that these bags have a lifetime replacement guarantee, don't believe it!

Fantastic! - updated July 29 2019
Updated 7/29/2019Customer service is amazing!!As you can see after reading my review i use these bags for everything lol. 5 of our bags have taken a bit of a beating and they are being replaced at no cost.Update 2/19/2019We have been on 3 cruises and over 35 flights ( I travel a lot for work) since my last review.I wish there was a way to add just one more starAlmost 2 years later 4 of my bags have broken and I would still add an extra star because they have exceeded my expectations. Not only do I travel a ton I started using the bags in different ways.If one of your bags is getting "ratty" so to speak you can use it for shoes. YES shoes put your heels or sneakers in grocery bags then organize/vacuum . This has been a game changer for us because well my wife wants to fly with every shoe she can but always fears them being damaged.Cruise-updateAs you may or may not know everything you pack in these bags gets wrinkled beyond belief so we hang everything in the shower and let the steam work for us.Pillows-If you dont like using them where you travel the bags do wonders for packing one or even 2 easily for a tripMoving -Be creative - I only wish I had these every time Ive moved you can literally pack your entire closet. No more boxing a few items at a timeDress clothes-If you have suites or dresses fold them ( if you don't already know learn how to fold a suit jacket -youtube) then place everything that is nice in one bag **do not vacuum** let just enough air out so theres a kind of air cushion. You can thank me later !! LolTravelling from warm to freezing environment- stuff your goose down jacket in the smallest bag and throw it in a carry on.And finally hiking/camping / kayaking - we are outdoor people and I use the vacuum bags for every situation. If you canoe or kayak you've been missing out they keep everything organized but also "dry" . When camping and hiking I've used these to keep clothes dry and small enough in my pack along with shrinking my sleeping bag and keeping it from the elements.Ok that was a complete brain dump - I hope this helps even 1 person--------------------------------------save tons of space.we travel a lot and these are amazing. If your a cruiser like us these bags are perfect.**tip**1. the hand pump is ok but tiring to use. the vacuum method is the way to go. with that said when your leaving from your cruise just grab the vacuum form house keeping they are always around. Re-pack your belongings and your good to go.2. if you like to buy liquor when your travelling and you don't have a fancy bag to put the bottle in. these bags are small and can fit anywhere when not filled up. toss a bottle in that's wrapped in a couple shirts or a towel. Something that wouldn't be ruined if the bottle did break. Do the old hand pump method "I don't suggest vacuuming this" and now your bottle is fly ready. This has worked for me several times!! Good Luck!!oh ya and the company is awesome if the bags don't work out they will work with you on return or replacement.

Works great! Saved a lot of space.
I didn't know what good size to buy, so I started with jumbo size. It's really big! Great for bedding and pillows. Yes I can store sweaters in jumbo bag, but I would only fill up half and fold the bag after sucking the air out. That way, it doesn't take too much footprint on my closet shelf. However, it is kind waste to use too big bag for smaller stuff. So I then bought medium and large size. They work fine. But I do notice the jumbo bag is a lot thicker than medium size bag, a lot more sturdier feel. Another thing I noticed is I have to set my Dyson vacuum at maximum power to really suck out the air.
