I bought this as a stand by torch as a i bought one from another place but one failed it was a very good torch when it worked as it chargered via USB direct into the chargering Dock not via a cable type .so I bought this one instead at a real bargain price if I am right it was just over £10 so its worth every penny .

The product description states that this torch uses 1xAAA battery, whereas three are required.No rechargeable battery is included - which is stated, but not very prominently, in the product description. The almost-indecipherable leaflet that accompanies the item does not clearly identify the type of rechargeable battery that is needed.The build quality is low: the cap covering the USB charging port had come off in transit and was loose in the box, and sharp edges were revealed when the body cap was unscrewed to insert batteries.If my time was less valuable to me, I'd obtain a refund. I'll probably bin the damn thing later.Best avoided.

Advertisement said it needed 1 AA battery but mistaken for 3 AAA rechargeable batteries. Overall product apart from battery issue all good. So rated as a 4 star only for that reason.

Listing is completely misleading, claims to need 1x AA battery, but when you unscrew the base it needs 3x AAA. These are not included. I could buy a new torch for the cost of 3x rechargeable AAA batteries. Utter waste of money. And the worst part is, I bought this as a gift, so only just found out there is an issue, and it's outside the 30 day return period, so i can't even return the thing. Don't both buying this. There are plenty of other rechargeable torches on the market which include batteries, either for the same price as this or cheaper! So disappointing

This torch is very bright and can be used with rechargeable battery (26650 ) Its is ideal for many purposes including Campiing, a an emergancy light in home and car. I find it is the only torch I need around the home or while away in the caravan

Good torch and helpful being rechargeable but the USB socket cover pulls out easily and is almost impossible to get back in.
