Looks amazing and works perfectly
Although I haven't done a strict A/B trees of the sound quality, the build quality is amazing and it's perfectly designed to complement the mic.

It's a Shure accessory, you know it's solid.
Bought this for a Beta 57 I got used. I love the A2WS on my SM57 and this is just as good, if not even cooler because of the magnetic mount. It can be a little challenging to get it on there the first time, but once it's on it stays in place pretty well. It's a neat design and works well enough to cure some wind noise on a Beta 57. What can I say? Shure makes good accessories and I buy them whenever possible.

Works perfectly for the vintage beta57!
Prior to finding this windscreen, I was so dissatisfied with every other product. I have a vintage beta57 and was somewhat concerned about compatibility with beta57a, but it fits perfectly! The magnetic ring as an extreme amount of security and rigidity while allowing the Capsule to be fully isolated with the foam, not actually touching. If you were looking for a product to take your vintage beta 57 to the next level, I highly recommend this product!

Nixes Plosives well on the SM57
While most people use the Shure SM57 for miking guitars cabs and drums, it also sounds great for spoken word and singing. However, the largely unprotected capsule is prone to plosives and other mouth noises. I added the A57AWS - Locking Foam Windscreen and, yeah, plosives be gone! No problem speaking or singing close to the mic. Plus, it makes a rather plain and nondescript mic look much nicer.

Nice Look!
I bought this foam cover for my shure Beta 57A and it fit's and look's perfect, also it's foam material look's and feel's very smooth.The cell's of the foam are more compressed and sealed together giving you a better performance and sound, asuring you the best less possible poping from voice! I recomend this Windscreen cover, specialy if you plan to use a shure Beta 57A for vocals,the windscreen has a matching blue ring just like the mic's grill, makes it look like the perfect match.

Magnet is not strong enough.
They attempted to make something really nice with this. Instead of just slipping over the top of the mic, it’s supposed to stay in place by this magnetic piece, but the magnet doesn’t hold. Honestly, there was no need to make a fancy version of this. The old cheap foam covers worked just fine. This was a waste of $11.It’s a neat idea, but the magnet needs to be much stronger.
