I like that they have metal caps on the end for when your pounding on them they don't break as easily.

Great price for an entry level kit. I am just getting back into carving and this was a good opportunity to see if I really want to invest the Time without breaking the bank.

Just so you know, the set I received weren't very sharp.

Not very good.....
Maybe I just expected too much for this. You get what you pay for. Every one of the tools doesn't have a smooth edge. Chipped and nicked. I have a file and a shapening stone to "fix for use". It only got a two star because I think I can sand and file to get better edge. Otherwise it's a one star. If you are a real carver person, this is not for you. Worry about youth using because if not smooth edge the tool can jump and cause injury.Costs too much to ship back, or I would return.
