OtterBoxDefender Series Case for BlackBerry Q10 - Retail Packaging - Black

I absolutely love this case! I just got my phone on Friday, ordered the case Saturday, and got it on Tuesday. Quick delivery. The case itself is very nice, it's hard rubber on the outer side and a black hard plastic on the inside. The package comes with another piece, the part in the picture where you see the clip to hang on to your pants; you can choose to put it on or leave it off, which is a nice option. When I hold it, I don't feel afraid that it will slip out of my hands. The case is very sturdy and strong. You will definitely know that nothing bad will happen to your phone - it's safe! At the sides, it's a little bit weird to type, but you get used to it really fast. I know that in another review, the person stated that whomever they were talking to couldn't hear them, but that's not true. The protective screen cover it comes with is great, as well. Perfect for anyone wanting to protect their phone from anything!

Fantastic product! Really protects your BlackBerry. Tricky to figure out how to install the case as it comes apart - watch the youtube tutorial by NerdBerry - he explains and shows how to do it perfectly. Phone goes to sleep when placed in holster. You cannot put the phone in the holster with the screen facing outwards. The screen faces in - so you cannot use the phone while it's in the holster, but it snaps in and out securely and quickly. You can also rotate the clip on the back so it's horizontal on your belt instead of vertical. The clip can also act as a stand for the phone, but I don't see any use for this since the phone cannot be put into the holster with the screen facing out. Fabulous product. I'm a dog walker and I drop it on streets and dirt and in parks all the time with no problems! Far surpasses closest competition in terms of protection. Love my blackberry q10 and defender case!

Holster broke on me in two days. Not the shipper fault at all. Otter just got this particular case wrong or it was a defect or something.

This case is great. I loved the keyboard experience with the Q10 without a case. The otterbox defender case takes it to a nother level. The grip on the back of the phone is just perfect to keep it stable while I type with one hand. The holster fits perfectly, I have not had any issues of the rubber outer case on the phone prohibiting the holser from securely fitting to the phone. Excellent protection with or without the holster. I do not see the functionality of the clip on the holster, with the phones screen facing outward, the stand will not balance the phone upright. That is the only issue I can find with this case. I would highly recommend.

If you need to fortify your BB10 to withstand an impending apocalypse, this is the case you need. Installation is easy, screen protector is great as long as you install it correctly. I haven't had any peeling or scratches on it yet with normal use over 4 months. Case is still in perfect condition. I have dropped the phone a few times, and the phone was unscathed. The texture rubber on the back of the case makes is more difficult to slide in and out of cloth pockets (jeans).Criticisms: You should expect this from Otterbox, so be forewarned: This case is massive and makes a small, slim phone into a not small, not thin phone. Width and height change is minimal, and is basically just what is necessary to clamp onto the outside of the phone. It pretty much doubles the depth of the phone though. Lastly, the plastic bezel infringes on the keyboard a little bit too much and the keys on the outer edges are sometimes easy to mis-press. Like anything, you get used to it, but it was frustrating when I first put it on.e.Pros: Probably the best protection you can get for a phon Proxy buttons on the case are responsive and feel good. Speakers and inputs are not obstructed. Some have complained about this but it has been fine for me.

I previously had an Otterbox case on my older BlackBerry Bold 9700, and this case is the same great quality and construction I have come to expect. It makes your phone feel indestructible.BIG Problem is that however they designed the case for the Q10 it blocks the speaking microphone and no one can hear you talk ! Great case but if it makes your phone unusable I have to recommend you do not by the product. Waste of money and I'm going to try and see if I can get a refund (since it makes my phone unusable).

The Otter Company obviously understands what quality and protection are all about. This rubber and plastic case, which consists of three components, assembles easily and provides great protection. I have inadvertently dropped the phone several times on hard surfaces and no damage resulted due to the Otter Case. The holster the phone snaps into is also well constructed with a durable oversized spring belt clip. I would highly recommend this product.

I love this OtterBox product. I have tried a few cheap cases in the past, but OtterBox has won me over. I wouldn't go back to the cheap stuff again. Solid feel, perfect fit, and has 'defended' my phone from several spills, including a drop with the screen-side down onto pavement. A knick on the case, but the phone is fine. Love it.
