This book takes you back to the era of most exciting bridge competitions and lets you touch the best minds in bridge in the great Blue Team. I have a Chinese version but the English version reads much better (I guess the original Italian version should be the best).The sell was very fast to send the book and the book is in a good shape. The Book was a present. I have it myself of course and have read it regularly. This is bridge as an artform, sublime technique, deep cardreading and thinking - memories of a bridge team to surpass anyone at any time. So nice to se that the book is still available. If you miss it, you have missed everything that has to do with bridge - but certainly not for beginners.

One of the most inspiring books of bridge ever written. It could have been a Double Dummy schoolbook, but it is for real.If you like Advanced but quite understandable deals - buy it. Read it. Love it!I just bought my third copy. I think I have read them 50 times.../ Joakim, Sweden

What a great!!

First, the book is very well written and presented. It was entertaining to read. There were some amusing quips.Second, the hands are excellent. There are a large number of double squeezes, so if you look for them, you can maybe find some of them. Of course these were made at the table under pressure.Third, the book will make you think about what the hands will look like after a certain number of tricks have been played (i.e. a suit run)I was a bit surprised at some of the poor defense plays. Perhaps top level card play has improved in 40 years.Fun, enjoyable book to read. Highly recommended.If you are not familiar with Double squeezes and Criss Cross squeezes you probably wont get much out of the book. Study for a while and come back in a couple of years.

Brilliant Blue Team & more than brilliant their plays which are beyond imagination. Many a deals show unbelievable execution & defence to make you believe that it can be achieved only by a Blue Team. Of course this was also with the help of very powerful system of those years ' A Blue Club'.

Marvellous Volume! It's a genuine treat to play through the games!
