Thought I already reviewed
Liked: more oil than in previous iterations. Much more.- lots of papers- spare set of whatchamacallit bamboo pins, i.e. Mekugi - old version did not have.Dislike: oil in plastic bottle. But sealed well. So only old people might care; Frankensteining a kit works just fine.- new “old paper” storage drum is maybe 1/2 size older one. But it works fine, and they provided lots of paper as I said.- bronze tool may have been stored in a cave for a 100 years; is very oxidized; but doesn’t change what it is. Certainly Brasso & elbow grease fix it- Haven’t used powdered ball yet, still using old one.- Totally worth the $, at least for this dummy.

Great quality, everything you need for a great price!
It was delivered very quickly! and with care! the box is finely carved and it is a great traditional Japanese sword cleaning kit. The one thing I disliked is the choji oil bottle could be a little more filled, 1/4 of the little bottle it comes in is air. But great price, great quality, and I personally like the red Uchiko compared to the commonly sold white Uchiko.

Good kit, bad bottle
The kit itself is great, but the spray bottle didn't work at all and the mixture seemed to be mostly water. The shipping was quick and everything was well packaged.

Great for my Sword
I was a little bit apprehensive buying this, since a lot of people complained that the oil had spilled inside, but mine wasn't so I am grateful for that. Of course the talc did a little and I had to cleanup some of the parts a little. Although everything was packaged quite well, so no big deal really. I don't think the hammer works very well though, maybe it's my sword, but the wooden pegs were very hard to remove. Either way, the paper and oil work great and I can clean my sword very easily with it. Would have preferred more oil in this kit though.

Cheap box(expected), oil empty. Everything else was good tho
Ok, first off. The box is obviously made of a cheap, maybe pine, wooden box. But for the price i expected that. The bottle of oil that came with it was completely empty and honestly looked like it had been for a while. Like nothing was wet or moist in the box. There was no paper or instructions of any kind. Just the hammer the lil powder ball and a couple of small wipes. But it was so cheap its not even worth sending back. Im just gonna get another bottle of oil. I suggest you just save yourself the time and get extra oil if you order this.

Not much to say...
A sword cleaning kit is a sword cleaning kit. All of the pieces were there and nothing looked or felt cheap. My only complaint is that the brass hammer always loosened itself after a hit or two, but most ones I have seen do as well so it is no big deal. A great buy for the price, though I'd recommend buying extra paper if you use your sword often because, as with any other kit, it only comes with so many.

Exactly as mentioned.
I had no problems, arrived on time and in good condition. I have read that sometimes the oil spills a little, but I did not have that problem. There is a small insert that gives instructions on sword cleaning, which some might find helpful. Overall, there is nothing for me to complain about.
