My girl wears a size 8 dress, and this slip was still too long.I can't understand why people don't wear a slip underneath their dresses,one can clearly see thru.

Fits well and keeps in body warmth when used as an additional clothing layer for kids.

It is a decent slip, and really did well at covering up what it needed to cover. It wasn't what I would call exceptional quality material, but it also wasn't flimsy or cheap. I had such a difficult time finding a child's slip, and really was thrilled to find this one. My one real issue with it was that it ran bigger than pictured. My daughter wears a size 8, and I ordered the appropriate size according to the chart. However, it fell below her knees, and with the straps as small as they would go the top barely covered up her chest area. I would like to add that my daughter is a little shorter than most 8 year-olds, but typically not that much shorter.

The fabric is very thin. I wish it were a little softer. I like the fact that you can adjust the shoulders. And with miss the dresses made nowadays are made with no lining. A slip is a must for a little girl. And they're quite hard to find and expensive. What I did not like was the fact that it was not so then. I'm hoping after washing it a few ti'm's.It'll become a little more soft.

Ordered this slip after failing to find one for my 11 year old daughter in stores. Was affordable, with quick shipping. My daughter says it is comfortable - feels smooth rather than scratchy. It is longer than I expected - almost knee length - but my daughter is fairly petite. Better to be long and need to hem it than be too short!The adjustable straps are a nice feature. We purchased this to wear under her graduation dress (5th grade graduation) and the adjustable straps help to position the slip so it wears appropriately to be hidden by the dress straps. I expect she'll be able to wear it with other dresses, and for other occasions, for at least another year. (Depending on growth spurts, of course.)
