I’ve been using this for a couple months for my anemic son. After a month his levels were up close to normal! We’re on the second order/4th bottle and he seems to be feeling better. Within the first week I noticed he was less pale, had more energy, dark circles in his eyes were going away. He is very picky but doesn’t mind taking it at all! He likes taking it. He says it gives him energy. The doctor told us to mix it with some orange juice so that is how he takes it and he drinks it with a straw. I recommend this product!

My son was diagnosed with iron deficiency and we started taking iron supplements about a year ago. We tried many brands before three moths ago we started taking Silarx drops. Resent blood test showed drastic improvement in iron level. Branded supplement Fer-in-Sol (Enfamil) did not improve his level even a bit - we were taking it for 6 months before we switched to generic Silarx drops. Don't waste your money on Fer-in-Sol buy generic, it is cheaper and it works!Message to other reviewers: please stop disliking supplements based on their taste. The goal of the essential mineral supplement is to improve/maintain normal level of that mineral in your (or your child's) body, not to please taste buds. If the taste is not too great - blend it with food or drink.

I needed to get iron drops for my toddler. We found these and got them. The taste is very strong, I recommend mixing it with a fruit smoothie to hide the taste.

Overall it’s ok and does what it’s suppose to. I don’t know if all iron medicine has that iron smell and taste so it might not be their fault it tastes awful. Peppermint is a weird flavor for a baby but maybe they needed a strong flavor.

Got this as recommended by my vet for my dog was losing weight and anemic, after a few weeks of using this, his blood levels went back to normal and came out a brand new dog.

My son is a cancer patient with a nose tube so he doesn't take by mouth but it's the best and purest form of iron I can find anywhere.

I like this product because it comes in a package of 2 and the reason I bought it because I prefer iron liquid supplements.
