Mirror Screw Cap 1" Dia Stainless Steel Decorative Nails Screw Cover Cap Fasteners -20pcs

This product did not function as designed nor described. I ordered approximately 160 of these in total and upon arrival, the caps were pressed onto the base, making it impossible to screw into the wall and used as designed. I've read the reviews stating that they "unscrew"... but that is not the case. I've used every tool in my arsenal attempting to remove the caps, from channel locks, screw drivers, picks and even a heat gun... nothing has worked. Instead, only damages the caps on every attempt. I even cut one in half to investigate... and there were no threads. If there is a solution, I would love to hear it. At this point, I plan to epoxy them to my project for appearance sake only!

These look great. But the screws don't look like stainless. I don't know how long they can last without rust.BTW, the customer who left a one-star review totally misunderstood how it works. The "washers" he described are actually nuts that are attached to the caps. You shouldn't be able to remove them. They are used to attach the screws to the caps. The brass color washers are actually the bolts that are supposed to be screwed into the caps' nuts.

My mirrors were trapped in the 80’s! This was the solution, and the hardest part was trying to figure out what they were called! Reading the reviews I felt for the the struggles they had, but I had no such trouble. It would have been nice if they came with instructions, but I remembered the diagram on Amazon, so I just jumped on and set my dated mirrors free!

I really liked the look once installed.

The media could not be loaded. Horrible product, probably the worst I've seen in many years. 100% unusable. In my package, all the decorative caps and carying washers come assembled together in a very tight fit, probably press fit. Impossible to separate and use the product as intended.Either the other reviewers received a totally different product or the reviews are bogus.I wasted few days waiting for the package to show up and now I'm unable to finish the job.The way they delivered the buttons pressed together without any way to separate defies any logic. And this is a very simple item...should just work.Garbage. Details in the photos.

Used these to replace the plastic star/flower pieces that held my original 1969 heavy bathroom mirrors in place. Great way to update and keep the hard to find heavy thick mirrors in my home. Be sure to check the depth your older mirror medallions had so these upgraded modern brushed metal attachments work well!

Caps don’t always stay on. Looks good when they do.
