Western Red Cedar Hedging Plants 20-40cm Thuja Atrovirens Evergreen Hedge Potted (5 Plants)

The media could not be loaded. Looking forward to these babies growing up fast. As apparently they can grow from 45cm to 60 cm per year depending on conditions. We decided on partially shady and our soil is clay based when you go down a bit. Just finished planting these today and they look like they are loving it already. They are 2.5ft from the fence and about 3ft apart. I probably won’t be alive to see them fully grown as under the perfect conditions they can grow up to 35m tall and have an 11ft diameter trunk and live for well over 1000 years, which is what we would like them to become as we are not planting them to make a hedge, they will be unchecked and allowed to grow as tall and as fat as they like. They are also part of Native American culture originally coming from North America, where they are prized for their wood which is used to make stuff, they also represent strength and It is said that if you stand with your back to a western red cedar tree it will make you strong. I am just looking forward to the day when these little babies block out all my neighbours light as they are horrible people and the least they deserve is to be left in the shade all day especially when it’s lovely and sunny. Very good condition. Bought 100 for hedging and have planted out around 50 so far. Rest are still happily thriving in their little pots ready for spring planting. Excellent supplier.
