Joe isn't slipping
This was a gift for my neighbors husband who is a double amputee. Joe almost slid out of his wheel chair at a wedding. His wife used it last weekend for another function and they were thrilled. No slipping.

Very helpful positioning strap!
This Criss Cross Chest Vest Restraint Belt is very well made and I love the fact that it has adjustable straps that clip together rather than being made of velcro like many others. We've purchased other belts in the past that were made of velcro and they didn't work well for keeping our son safely in his wheelchair. This one works very well, is sturdy and is easy to adjust.

Slipping
I thought this would stop my mom with dementia from slipping out the wheelchair, but it doesn’t work.Besides that, it’s not compatible with all wheel chairs, it’ll just be too high and around the neck.

Buena Compra

Hazardous
I thought this would keep my Mom up in a wheelchair. Instead my Mom was sliding out of her wheelchair and her head was pressing against the bib part. She was choking. I had to ask for assistance to hold her up from the bottom while I tried to lift her head up . It was near impossible trying to prop her back up into her wheelchair. I felt like a fool in the hospital and a bad caregiver by bringing her to the hospital like this. I’m sure this restrains someone that probably can walk or has no problem sitting upright. It’s not going to keep someone upright if they can’t do that by themselves.
