Ignore the nagative reviews. This works great if used correctly!
I have been using this setup for over a year. it keeps my pH perfect. The negative reviews must be from people just setting up and hoping for the best. This isn't a 'smart meter' it's just a pH probe and a dosing pump with set variables in the controller. The fewer gallons you treat, the weaker your pH solution needs to be. If you treat a gallon, then one pump from this doser and your pH will sky rocket in the set direction. I treat about 50 gallons with mine using GH up and down solutions with no issues. I regularly double check with a hand held probe as well to make sure this probe is staying accurate! Also you have to keep your probe clean, calibrated, and wet in order for it to function properly. This product is more than worth buying at this price when put up against the competitions' prices. I normally don't leave reviews on products but was about to buy another one of these setups and noticed the negative reviews. I just thought I'd set things straight!

Working perfectly!
If you have a reservoir that needs constant monitoring and adjusting then you absolutely NEED this. It took awhile to get the sensor and dosing tube positioned properly so as not to overdose (this system does a single does until your set PH level is reached) but once we dialed that in it has worked flawlessly. We added a wave maker to our reservoir on one side where the dosing tube is and placed the sensor on the opposite side so the PH solution mixes quickly and doesn’t overdose. We also diluted our PH Down solution 50/50 with distilled water to make it even less likely to overdose. All in all a great piece of equipment if you take the time to dial it all in.

Overdoses, dosing pump didn't turn off even when sensor read lower than set pH.
It overdoses by an insane amount, I came home to find my water at 3.2 when set at over double that. The doser pump seems to be decent, and the sensor is accurate but the actual communication between sensor and doser is terrible, it should only turn on for 5 seconds, turn off, check pH, turn on for another 5, check pH, until it reaches the desired level. If you're thinking about purchasing this I highly recommend you spend a bit more on the BlueLab pH doser.

Works good, very happy.
Works well, o issues, 2 months now, very happy, hoping it has a long life. This unit keeps the PH within 2 or 3 points in 30 gallons.

Great buy! Saves time
Worked great in my deep water culture system to regulate pH, bought an industrial pH meter though so it lasts longer! Still working good!

Great warranty support
I have had this for a little over a year (it's only had a few months of use off and on) and the motor on the doser burnt out. I contacted warranty support using the number on their website and they sent me a replacement without much of a fuss and were a pleasure to deal with.

Milwauke Instruments MC720 - Customer service was outstanding - Europe and US
I purchased a Milwaukee MC720 dosing kit for my daughter doing aquaculture research at Holar University in Iceland. I mistakenly ordered the wrong unit because I went through the Milwaukee Instruments in the US. I should have purchased it through the Milwaukee Instruments in Europe. Of course when the unit arrived in Iceland, my daughter noticed is was 60HZ and not 50HZ. Fabio from the Milwaukee (Europe) and Jason (US) have been outstanding in working with us to correct this. This was my mistake, but they have been awesome to work with!!
