This is just wide enough and just tall enough that it will also hold your Surface Pro (see picture - top sticks out a tiny bit but the flap can easily accommodate). It will not fit your 13” iPad with keyboard. It is gorgeous. It is incredibly well wrapped. The front clasps are actual clasps, not magnets. They are smooth and easy to open, even one-handed. It doesn’t have separate slots for pens but if you have a clip you can just attach them inside the two pockets shown. In addition to effectively three sections inside the bag there are three zippered areas, the little pocket on the front and inside and on the back. The shoulder strap has plenty of room but there is also a little strap to tuck the extra in so it doesn’t flap around. This is a terrific bag and insanely good value at this price.

I love this bag!First, to repeat what other reviewers have said, the care going into the packaging for shipping is incredibly well done. Every metal piece is taped or wrapped to keep from scratching, the whole thing is placed inside of a cloth bag, and there is a personally signed "Thank you" letter from Komal, with care instructions on that back". There were numerous silica gel packs inside to keep moisture from building upThe leather is thick and sturdy. It's stiff, but it should be. I can tell it will soften with use and "weathering".Everything is double stitched, and the design allows the sides to fold in on themselves for a thin profile when it's not stuffed, or a good 3" or so width of space fill of item.The leather feels rugged, and will definitely last, darkening with time, gaining it's own patina. It absolutely does NOT have a strong smell. After reading some other reviews, I wonder if they either got something different, or if they are just very sensitive to the smell of leather. My daughter, my friend, and a coworker all agree it has a normal, mild, pleasant leather smell.All the buckles and clasps work great. Contrary to what one reviewer stated, you do NOT have to unbuckle the front to access the main compartment. The buckles, though functional, are decorative. Each belt has a snap-clasp being the buckle, for fast opening and closingThere is a lot of room inside. And though stiff, I can already feel it loosening up after just a little time of use. Right now, I have my iPad 8th Gen, cellphone, wallet, charger pack, 3 cables, backup charging batter, 4 pens, 2 pencils, a small notebook, and my airpods. There's room for much more in there.A fantastic purchase that I will use for a long time, and a great seller that I will be purchasing another bag from in the near future.

I'm very pleased with the Komal 11-inch leather satchel. At an event I organize, I needed a sturdy hands-free bag from which to distribute brochures and for collecting survey forms. The Komal satchel worked beautifully with two divided sections in the main portion of the bag, plus two outside zipper pockets. I find that its approx. 9-inch (23 cm) width and 11-inch (28 cm) depth are not ideal for file folders, but envelopes, office papers folded in half, and/or an iPad fit perfectly (as does a sandwich or two in one section, if you like). The leather strap adjusts to different lengths. I usually let the bag hang from one shoulder. On occasion I secure the satchel further by looping the strap over my head to carry it more as an underarm bag. Two buckling straps can secure the main flap, in the manner of a courier bag, but I usually just let the flap hang down over the front of the bag, so that I can pull it back easily and gain quick access to the contents. I'm so glad I did not purchase a synthetic product, because the leather Komal satchel is truly beautiful. Other guys have complimented me on the satchel's attractiveness and practicality. My girlfriend also likes to use it from time to time when she does not want to wear a backpack. The manufacturer has put a lot of thought and craftsmanship into design and high-quality construction. Included with the satchel are helpful tips for keeping the leather in tip-top condition (not at all hard to do), and a useful explanation of how the leather will wear and change slightly in color over time. I highly recommend the Komal 11-inch leather satchel.
