11 inch Go Game Set Magnetic Folding Board Game Portable Traditional Chinese Weiqi Set with Magnetic Stones for Adults Travel Gomoku

I bought this go board for my mom and I to play after we had lost ours while moving. We had a traditional wood one with ceramic or porcelain pieces but it wasn’t easy to transport and they would chip easily. This one is nice because when you play, the pieces don’t move a lot Bc of the magnet so you don’t get messed up Incase you knock the board. It’s a fairly big board too with lots of playing room. And I like that it’s foldable for easy storage. Overall, I’m excited to use it.

I'm not as impressed with the sturdiness and value (I paid $30) as some of the other reviewers. I like the game, like that the pieces are magnetic, like that the board folds up to hold the buckets of stones. However, like most people, I want to store the game board in the original box to protect it ( it will be stored in a stack of games in the closet). Unlike most board games, the exterior cardboard box is SUPER flimsy. More of a throw-away type package than one you'd store a board game in. The plastic of the folding playing board is acceptable-- not amazing, not terrible.I feel like a fairer price for this would be around $20-24.

Have played this game as a kid, love it. Unlike the old board game, pieces are magnetic and do not slide if accidentally disturbed. Well made and sturdy. Still the same old strategic skills required.

There was no instructions. Not cool, have to purchase book separately to learn GO?Seller has since provided me with PDF instructions. The board quality is very good. It's better than I expected. Had much fun with kids. Suggest to watch a YouTube video for Go beginners tutorial first, so that kids will enjoy it more.

I bought this is because my friend and I have been playing Gomoku on phone a lot, and we want to play it on a real board. The quality of the product is good. I like how it’s magnetic, so the stone won’t move around. The only suggestion from me is DO NOT get the small size if you buy it to play Gomoku. It’s hard to see if your stone is in line or not sometimes.

This is a great table game, very happy with the quality for the price. Easy to pack for when you travel and the magnetic board and pieces are a plus if you are on a long car ridevand don't want your kids using electronics.
