OH My Gosh! I feel like a kid again
My Pair of Pro Keds arrived today. As I placed them on my feet and laced them up, nostalgic thoughts of my childhood flooded back. We stomped in puddles, drew on them, and even got them stepped on. when they finally wore out, we got a new pair, and magically the old ones got tossed up a pole. Are they waterproof NO! Do they get waterlogged in the rain YES! But do you care? NO!, Because they are PRO KEDs. Live a little, put um on, and go stomp in rain puddles!

Much nicer than Converse
The wider toe box and more cushioned insole make these much better than Chucks in my opinion. The red and blue stripes also remind me of BMW cars.

Going Old School
First pair I ordered I ordered a half a size down due to what I read in a review about running large. Ended up order my true size and they fit perfect. So order the size you normally wear and you should be OK.

Childhood
In the 70s and 80s a large number of people in Charleston SC wore these. I wore the high top version for many years before switching to the low cut. Pro Keds are the best.
