The perfect lense
I tried this lense in a shop on Madrid Spain with a Sony camera and we realize the quality and best price for 85 mm lense. Unfortunately it doesn't work in a Camera Canon M50 mark II. We will keep and eye if Viltrox have one for this camera.

Superb lens
This is a great lens and well worth the money. I saw a YouTube video which highlighted that this lens was constructed as an F1.6 lens and supplied the firmware update. I was sceptical but I can indeed confirm that this lens can now reach F1.6. this was enough of a difference with the lower cost for me to not want to look at the more expensive F1.4 85mm lenses out there.

Portrait machine!
This lens is amazing for both photo and video. Auto focus, image quality and build quality are all top notch. Highly recommend for the price.

Fantastic lens for the money :)
Used this as my go to lens for a dance competition. with so many subjects on the dance floor at any one time it struggled to find the right subject as a lot was going on in the frame.. but i guess this is the case for all lenses. when it focussed on the right subject though the results were amazing. I didnt use Eye focus for these fast moving people but will try at the next event. Going to try out the Tamron 28-75mm lens also at the next event. I took 1700 and got 50 good shots.

Very good for the any price.
I find the auto focus is perhaps not as good as I would like but that is like to be my ham fisted attempts as the fault of the lens! The picture quality is lovely and whilst it is not the lightest lens it is very well built!

Perfect.
Bought to fit Sony A7II and fits perfectly. Most used lens of all we have!

Excellent optics, spoiled by un-reliable focussing and electronics issues
Let me start off saying that I really wanted to keep this lens. Build is great, if quite heavy, finish smart, and optically the lens is both sharp when in focus, but with lovely smooth bokeh in the out of focus areas at wider apertures.2 main issues - at times the connection to the camera was unreliable, with the EVF showing focus peaking outlines occasionally and even requesting I fit a compatible lens. The other issue was that the lens frequently missed focus more often than it acheived it, often front focussing and often by what appeared to be around 10%-15% of the distance between me and the subject. Stopping down helped, because it simply moved the depth of field back to include the subject. An update to the latest firmware did not significantly improve the situation, so the lens was returned. With reliable focussing and no connection issues I would have been very pleased to keep the lens.
