Fantastic cooker easy to use

Really wanted a white double oven but choice very limited. This fits fine, steel but looks ok and heats quickly. Can't work out why and when the cooling fan comes on, seems random but better than running constantly like my old Stoves oven. Disappointed that bottom oven shorter than old oven but none provide useful dimensions, volume in litres but no information on actual useable space dimensions so you can tell what pans will fit, however the top oven is pretty good and fine for most of my cooking. It's a pity that timer only works with bottom oven but comparable ovens were the same. Overall think reasonable value and happy using it.Fan in the bottom fan oven is noisy. I'm used to sound of fan ovens but this is loud and a bit rattly. Good job I don't use it often.

Great value for money

After careful research and detailed measuring of the existing cooker space, we plumped for this cooker. It arrived at the given time and was easy to fit and connect. The main oven is such an improvement on our old one, the controls are easy to understand and the meals so far have cooked perfectly, so the temperatures are what they are supposed to be. We have used the top oven for quick meals, which also saves money. Both the oven capacities have been adequate, the oven light allows you to see all that is going on, the grill pan is larger than we thought, and with two additional shelves our needs are met completely. We are extremely pleased with this product, Russell Hobbs are a winner as far as we are concerned

Oven has produced excess steam when cooking virtually anything. When cooking for longer periods e.g. roasts the steam is ridiculous. Every time we cook water runs out the bottom of the oven door and onto the units and floor below. I complained to Russell Hobbs about this they sent an engineer who said there was nothing physically wrong with the oven and I will just have to accept it! Now Russell Hobbs has washed their hands of the problem. I think it must be a design fault as their is a gap underneath the oven door. Do not buy this oven.
