Very limp.
Needs trunking or conduit. Dont expect it to travel in a straight line! eg between plasterboard and wall in a dry lined room.My fault. There is another product, consisting of short connectable rods (similar to drain rod system), which might have done the trick. I have now cut out a suitable length of plasterboard and installed plastic conduit for this particular application, where the tool subject of this review WILL come into its own. A. Chapman.

gets you out of a tight gap.... or rather..... into it!
Perfect for threading cables through conduit. There is a good amount of flexibility on the 'mouse' but don't kink it! extremely strong, and will take as much force as you can pull with (by hand at least).I have used this for multiple reasons such as threading conduit, trunking and feeding a cable through car panels.... much easier than using sticks, coat hangers, and anything you can find laying around! Easily re-rolls for storage

Don't think it's fit for pur
I bought this to feed some electrical wire through plastic conduit and threading it in was ok. When it came to pulling the cable through, that's when the problems started. The piece that is used to hold the wire to the fish tape sheared is off, leaving the wires stuck in the conduit. Not good!I guess if you're pulling single wires through something, then this MIGHT be ok, but for anything else, don't waste your money like I did and find something better.

Quality and security
Used to secure my racing quad wheels. Super flexible but 100% strong, easily stowed when not in use.

Feeding cables

Nowhere near stiff enough
Flops around like an actual fish when trying to push it through any sort of resistance and just starts to curl up on itself. I bought it for feeding a cable under a carpet, got nowhere with this and instead picked up the useful tip of using a tape measure to push under and catch the cable with the tab at the end to pull back through. Might work for some simple feeding through conduit but nothing more than that.
