My 7th grader HATES having to wear a lanyard with his ID. He doesn't like anything around his neck, and especially doesn't like the ribbon style lanyards provided by the school or that we have bought. We tried a braided leather cord last year and it was just ok. Still felt like it was pulling too much.He loves this chain lanyard. Says it is light and likes that he can make it shorter because of the lobster claw clasp. I have just bought a second one for fear of losing this one and it not being available to purchase when/if that happens.

Our elderly relative found the wide-strap lanyards very rough, and the edges would dig into her skin. This thinner beaded lanyard is much more comfortable for her.

I'm a field social worker and I've always used breakaway lanyards for my badge and whatnots. During training for my first group home position, my supervisor taught me to never wear a "noose" around your neck. She told me about a client who tried to strangle her using her company-issued non-breakaway lanyard. It stuck with me and I've always relied on the fabric breakaways until now. My new role requires me to attend fancy county meetings and hike into riverbeds, washes and encampments often in the same day. This magnetic chain lanyard is a professional, business-y badge holder for meetings and a rugged, sturdy, all-terrain lifeline in the field. It's held up to a beating and hasn't caused discoloration. An added bonus: the magnets act as a tactile distraction during phone calls in the office. Just sayin'.

Cheap. Broke once I put on first time

This is a wonderful chain/lanyard to hang a medical alert device around my neck. It eliminated the bulky excess that I had on the back of my neck with the cloth self-adjustable lanyards. It is also a strong and sturdy chain/lanyard.

This lanyard will breakaway in situations that you don’t want to be taken with the chain. Like if it snagged on something moving or if someone is yanking it off, you won’t fall. It’s not flashy and looks professional.

Very pretty, but unfortunately, the chain broke on day 3.
