Beautiful Ma Kali Statue. Well-made, good detailed work, and solid.

I'm now referring to this little Kali statue as my kitchen Kali, because I have her perched high atop the refrigerator, overlooking the main living area, and with a clear view of the apartment door (for any unwelcome intruders who may come in). I got her because I felt a need for protection from demons on the outside, but I know her benefit to me is also on a much more personal level. Despite the initially unsettling image of Kali holding a severed head aloft, with a bloodied sword in another hand, the colors of this painted statue are soothing to look at, particularly the blue of her skin. To me, having her here feels like having a friendly (to me) presence in my home, although I imagine that it could unsettle someone else who is seeing her for the first time, as well. I do handle the statue with care, as I would any other, because I don't want it to get damaged or broken.

After searching for a statue of the Goddess Kali that I can live with, this is the one for me.I understand she is a destroyer Goddess, but most statues of her are so horrible. This, thoughshowing her with skulls & a head in her hand, isn't as gory as most.The statue is painted in muted, soft colors, which lessens its fierce appearance.If you have been looking for Kali in a statue, you might consider this one.

Very beautiful statuette! Good detailed work. 4 stars because it is not like on the photo, I expected she'll has more dark blue color of skin, but she has pale blue color. And stand isn't flat enough. But in general it's very good statuette. Loved it! It's good addition for my altar. Jai Kali Ma!

She came just as shown and was in pristine condition i was very pleasedShe was boxed up very tight and perfectly so nothing was broken and she was very lovely like brand new, thank you so much I’m very happy with her

I just recieved this statue today. And it arrived complete and in perfect condition. No errors.The details and colours on this Kali statue are perfect and it make it look so realistic.! I always wanted a Kali statue and this is sure worth the money. :-) I love every bit of it.

Nice statue, as others have said, nice detail. Only took off 2 stars because her sword arrived broken off which i think could have been prevented if the foam padding was a little more carefully cut out (it was rough around that area, looked like someone dug it out with their fingers or something). Hopefully will be able to fix with some glue and it will hold up - aside from this, i am pleased with it.
