Looking great and smart.... bought 2 days before only so its working fine now.... installation service was very quick .. overall value for money

I was looking for a glass Cooktop to add to my recently renovated kitchen. The Whirpool 3 burner got through my checklist. It was easy on pocket, good looking and value for money. Came in an excellent packing.Well, after using it for few months here is what we think. The burners are well spaced and are very easy to maintain. The knobs are also of good quality. Note that the cook top can be placed on top of the counter if you wish. It has got a low profile and looks good. I choose to cut the granite. The auto ignition is battery operated. The only problem I faced was with the auto ignition. But I think that was probably not because of the manufacturing. The guy who fixed the battery, loosened a screw which fits the battery chamber to the stove’s base. So the end result is something like this. The smallest burner auto ignites if I press and turn the knob. The ignition function is not working for other knobs. I got a work around- press the smallest knob and turn the others which you need to lit - it works. I guess I am too lazy to contact customer care to get it fixed. Overall, I like the product and recommend it.

I purchased this hob believing that the brand name Whirlpool would be dependable. That is the worst decision ever. Of the three burners two of them refused to ignite and the third one ignites only partially. I had to call innumerable times before an operator answered on the number Whirlpool had given. The person did not note my complaint down nor promise any service. All he did was to give vague replies. I hung up and tried again only to have a repeat of the earlier experience. This has turned out to be such a nightmare as I am all set to move into my home in three days time and I am now without a gas stove. Dear prospective buyers, please do not buy whirlpool as they are just out to sell their product without having their after sales department in place as they know that they can fool the buyers with their brand name.

What I did like about the product was the fit and finish along with the service installation guys who came over real quick. The burners work good and are easy to clean. So far I haven't seen any issues in the fitting or the glass top. What could be bettered is the auto ignition. It seems it has a mind of its own, 90% times it works great and suddenly it doesn't. This random stops make no sense and that's why I removed one star.

Gas technician Sikandar are very patient and did a wo derful nstallation. Overall the product was neatle installed. As for the working, will post further review after use
