Exactly what my left hand needed
I took piano lessons for a few years when I was a kid, and recently started playing around on piano again. Since I played saxophone in band from 4th grade through high school, I have no trouble reading treble clef, but struggle majorly with bass clef when it comes to piano. BTW, this is partly why I quit piano in the first place- I just didn't ever get comfortable with bass clef, so piano became really challenging as I started to progress. I got this book to try to overcome this problem once and for all, and it is exactly what I wanted. It starts super simple- like, beginner simple, and slowly progresses. Just tunes on the left hand, that's it. If you or your kiddo or student stuggles to get comfortable with bass clef, this is the book- try it before you quit or let your kiddo quit!

Great resource for left-hand finger development
This is an excellent book that uses made up simple tunes and melody lines from familiar classical pieces. It also provides finger numbers where necessary. I am looking forward to using this book with my students. It will help to keep their interest alive in the piano unlike redundant finger exercises that bores them at times. I like how it provides the opportunity to test their note name recognition, too. I highly recommend this book.

Important and very helpful book!
This book provided me just what I needed to advance. I'm a beginner at age 69 and practice is necessary, but as I moved up the right hand was getting that practice but the left hand notes were few. I knew I needed to learn the notes on the piano and paper and this book does just that. While I only needed to get to page 5 to meet my immediate needs, there is a whole lot more to as I slowly learn and advance. I highly recommend this for beginners and any who feel their left hand is being left out of the fun! Thanks, Dan

Not What Expected
The Piano with Left Hand Only is about 21 pages long, where the first 15 pages shows the rifts with animal name titles. The last 5 pages have regular songs. I think it is written for someone who can read music because there is no explanation for the more complex chords. But then it does provide instruction on relatively simple concepts such as the signs for a sharp and a flat, and it does include a few very simple worksheet areas to identify a note and or write a note. Some pages gave instruction on hand placement and others did not, so for me that made the finger numbers when indicated above the notes a little confusing initially. Near the end it lists about 11 Italian musical terms and suggest you memorize them. Also, I am a novice at the keyboard so possibly a more experienced piano player would have a different opinion. But I was looking for a basic or beginner song book predominantly using left hand notes. I have a young left-handed grandson and I this was not what I was looking for.

Well written
I’ve been teaching music for a while already, and have found this book very helpful when teaching the LH. It thoroughly explains the notes, and is self explanatory as well. Can be used for all ages, highly recommend.

Received exactly what I was looking for faster than driving around looking for it all over town.
I loved that I found it on Amazon and that I could get it so quickl. It’s a product I needed for one of my students that had one injured hand and I needed to keep him active while healing.

Lower Ledger Lines?
This is a good book for practicing bass clef reading. While exercises including upper ledger lines are plentiful, only two tunes contain one C2 each. There seems to be a deficiency of exercises for reading the lower ledger lines.
