A really nice Bookcase and excellent design. Easy to assemble and just as described.

Do not buy this item, it is the wort bookshelf money can buy. The wood is very thin and on the bottom shelf the two screws that come up through the base to secure it come through the wood, also the wood only fits at the joints where it touches, leaving quite a lot of gaps. After assembling the shelves, I loaded it with paperback books and note pads keeping the heavier items at the bottom, once loaded I noticed that it had leaned over quite a bit. The following morning the unit had failed due to the weight of the books causing screws to pull out of the very thin wood. I had to repair the shelves by putting two brackets in between the base and the main upright to reinforce it and drilling eight extra holes to allow extra screws to be fixed to hold the shelves in place. I would have returned the unit, but I had put all the package out for recycling collection. Overall, not fit for purpose and a complete waste of money.

I bought this bookshelf because I liked the unique design and thought it would be very space efficient – which it is. I feel the image is misleading as it shows the shelves are thicker than reality, meaning the bookshelf is far weaker than the image would have you believe. There are numerous problems with the assembly process. While I was able to work around these problems, they should not exist in the first place. By following the provided instructions step-by-step, you will most certainly not be able to assemble this product properly and you will definitely need to use your own techniques. If someone does not have their own set of tools and required DIY skills, it would be nearly impossible to assemble this.The significant issue with this product is with the base board. The base board’s pre-drilled holes are drilled vertically and not diagonally, meaning the screws do not go in properly and are unable to secure the first shelf onto the base. The screws provided are also too short and the shelf comes off the base with even the smallest force applied. I had to resort to drilling my own holes with a powered drill to properly secure it.After tackling the base board, another major issue is that the pre-drilled holes in the remaining shelves are not accurately aligned. Where the holes are slightly off-centre, I had to force the screws into place. In cases where the holes were substantially out of line, I had to drill my own holes from the back panel into the shelves.Once assembled, the bookshelf definitely looks aesthetic, it does not take up too much space and is able to hold several books. However, it is evident that it is quite flimsy and the shelves may require additional screws to increase its sturdiness.

Great idea for storing max number of books in a limited space. Found it difficult to put together though so if you don't have great diy skills, recommend you go for the option to have it professionally put together. Costs a bit more, but probably worth it. My only negative comment would be that the bamboo wood, although it looks great, is a little bit thin so when you are putting the screws in, make sure they are lined up correctly. Would have benefitted from clearer instructions, too.Overall though, very happy with it.

Was concerned about the quality of this, after reading other reviews, but I shouldn’t of worried. found it very easy to assemble and sturdy. Looks really good. Would definitely recommend.

Not the best book shelf, very hard to assemble, holes not matching each other, it’s been a bit of nightmare, but that’s the cheap stuff.

Excellent value and quality

You dont need to be a woodworker to see how utterly crap this item is. It has been poorly varnished and is patchy in places. The pilot holes never lined up. Not once. Even the screws felt cheap, like they had been made from scrap tin. Part of it broke as I knew it would before I screwed but I followed the dreadful instructions and here we are. Save yourself the money and avoid this over-priced garbage.
