I am so glad I bought this lighting kit for my central perk Lego set. It’s brought to life and now looks so much more interesting and warm now it’s lit up.The lights are so easy to install with minimal disassembly of the Lego set to install them.The price is very reasonable with the deal Amazon have. I wanted the lights since I got the set but I couldn’t justify the price but I got 50% off so I jumped on the buy button. The lights can be run off of three AA batteries or from usb but my only complaint is the usb lead is far too short so I’ll need a long extension so it reaches to the plug socket or run it off a power bank but I’m not a fan of having to charge it up.Overall Well worth it!

The idea is great, the look is great…. The reality, I’m not sure. I feel you need to be a qualified electrician to set this up. The guide is written horrendously with little to no written information on a step by step basis. Pictures alone don’t help when you have 20 bags with different lights, wires and connections in them. If they just revisited the guide and added more written instructions it would be great. Once opened I spent 10 minutes looking through it all before I put it away and decided I’d do it during the next lockdown! I want to create the amazing pictures they show when selling this light set, I just don’t know if I have the time or patience.

The kit itself is intact, which I'm very pleased n thankful about because the driver left this and another package on my doorstep saying he'd delivered it to the recipient, which he hadn't. Both items were quite expensive n he could have delivered them to a neighbour. So not very happy!

This item does the job. Cable lengths are generous so that you can come up with your own style to hide them if you don't want to follow the instructions. Some of the lights needed gentle force to stay in between bricks (especially round single diamond light bits at the beginning). This was the very first step in the building journey and presented doubts for the other lights but they all fit perfectly after all. It took me about a couple of hours and instructions are easy to follow if you're a 'LEGO friendly' person. If you managed to build the Friends LEGO set, the instructions for the lights will be easy for you.Instructions say use USB for brighter light but brand new batteries do give blinding shine.Very pleased with it.

At first all the elements look challenging but actually was easy and not too fiddly to add to the set. Wish there were little grooves in some of the Lego bricks to allow easier fit but minor detail really. Makes the set comes to life even in daytime. Usb makes it much more practical, economical and brighter. Not cheap but we'll worth it and good value, great quality result.

This makes my set come to life! Fiddly in places but 100% worth all the frustration because of my fat fingers. Instructions are easy to follow, and help hide the cables well.Well presented packaging and labelled well so you can’t go wrong. Anyone that is looking at lighting up their sets I highly recommend Briksmax.

Overall the product works like it says it would and looks really nice in the LEGO set. My only two issues were that a set of lights does not work (at least they are in the same spot so it’s not that big of a deal) and the sticky squares were missing from my kit so I had to order some to finish the installation.
