PTZ Camera Outdoor,5MP 5X Optical Zoom WiFi IP Camera with 360° Rotate and 30 Meter View Distance/Human Detection & Auto Tracking/Two Way Audio/IP66 Waterproof/Night Vision

I am using this camera to monitor activity at a remote flying site site for our radio control model aircraft club. It performs very well and offers all the features needed, including high video resolution, preset positions and optical zoom. At our site it is controlled by a Raspberry Pi using Selenium under Python to move to various presets via the camera's HTML interface. Images are then captured using ffmpeg and transmitted to the club website. Performance is excellent, especially given its very reasonable price. The only thing missing is an API which would make controlling the camera via a computer interface easier.In addition, I want to offer a complement to the seller, BayLine, for their excellent customer service. The camera electronics started to fail about 2 months after purchase so it was beyond the return window for Amazon. I contacted BayLine and they first wanted to test the camera via the web but that was not possible due to its remote location and inaccessibility from the Internet. Consequently they immediately shipped out a replacement. I would definitely purchase from them again.

I'm pretty happy so far with these cameras (I have 2 currently). They are well packaged and seem well made, The camera has a metal body and feels solid. At this price point this is probably one of the best cameras for the money.Setup is fairly straightforward and can be done through the camera's web page or through the CamHipro app, I'd recommend the web page route as I ran into one issue with email setup and false negatives on the email settings test. The test fails but the settings were correct and the test email comes through. Once setup the app works pretty good for viewing and controlling the camera.The image quality is very good overall, even at night, but the IR range is not all that far but is sufficient for my purposes. The pan and tilt work well and move pretty quick but the zoom is kind of slow. The motion detection works well but is very sensitive so I have to keep the sensitivity low, I'm still working to get the settings tweaked a bit to minimize false triggers.My cameras are using WiFi and the antennas do a good job of picking up the signal through the exterior wall. I like that you can scan for wifi signals and see their signal strength in percentage form.One other note, the day after I ordered my second camera they went on sale, I contacted the seller (Bayline) and they quickly offered to refund me the difference. I appreciate the good customer service.

I had purchased another brand and had issues so it was returned to Amazon and I decided to go with this one. I'm happy i did. Camera works great during the day and night vision is clear with good distance. PTZ functions are nice bonus for the price of the camera. I don't use wireless so I cant give any comments on that. I use ethernet hookup to my router which works great.Some of the features I like are:5MP ResolutionPan, Tilt, 4x Optical ZoomTwo-Way TalkMade of metalPicture qualityAs far as software there are third party software that works well with it. Below are the ones I tried which work with the camera. There might be others out there that will work. All software was used on a windows 10 pc.P2P Client came with the cam and it works but it could be better. I have some issues with software getting a bit fuzzy at times and its always adjusting for clear pic. It does have motion detection and works great. It has the best ptz functions with no delays. I have it installed but don't use it regularly.Blue iris worked and didn't have any issues.ispy I did have a few issues with picture quality initially but I got it sorted out. There ptz functions aren't the easiest to use but do work including motion detection.Contaware ContaCam worked great but the version software I used had no ptz functions. If that doesn't matter give it a try.The software I use is anycam.io. It works great and its free if you have 1 camera but if more then 1 cam then you need to buy the software which is inexpensive. To have ptz functions you need to set camera up as onvif . The only issues with ptz functions is there is a couple of second delay from when you use the ptz functions and it doesn't track motion on the free version. It's not an issue for me but could be for some. This is the one I use and i find it has a great clear pic.As for my phone I use the software that came with the camera. Not great but it does work. You can move the camera by using your finger on the picture.I wish it had ptz function buttons but on android I don't see any.Final thoughts:I'm happy I purchased this camera and hoping it will last. Its got great build quality comes with 1 year warranty and enough software choices to make everyone happy.
