PILOT Iroshizuku Bottled Fountain Pen Ink, Fuyu-Gaki, Winter Persimmon (Orange Red) 50ml Bottle (69209)

This was my first purchase of an Iroshizuku ink. The bottle it comes in is even more beautiful in person than it is in the pictures, and the ink is exquisite. I have only used it in one pen so far, but the color is vivid and bright and startlingly beautiful, without being loud or garish. I guess everyone else already knows what fine and elegant inks these are. The two other bottles of Iroshizuku ink I eventually purchased shortly after I received this Winter Persimmon one are also just gorgeous. A definite step up for me, and one that adds significantly to my enjoyment of my pens. Well worth the cost.

Big fan of the Iroshizuku line of Pilot inks, and this one didn't disappoint either. Just like the other inks it's well behaved, and flows well. Beautiful color. The bottle will last me a while, but if I lost it, I'd buy another one.

For any pen I own these inks work great and available in a variety of beautiful colors. This is a deep rust red - very pretty. Buy it - you won’t be disappointed.

Im not a person who normally goes for vibrant colors that pop out too much but this orange is gorgeous. I was expecting just a shade darker but even then it is absolutely amazing. even with it being a bit brighter than I thought, I'd argue that it's probably the best option for your money. starts and ends with a beautiful orange-red tone. worth the purchase if you're in the market for this sort of ink.

Pity, I wanted to like it but I need something more contrasty on white paper.

Aside from the beautifully crafted bottle and presentation, this ink is an outstanding quality ink. I have used many inks and do use them on a daily basis. I use high quality inks where possible and I bought this ink after receiving a hint to try it. I started with this color and bought several colors at once. I simply fell in love with the incredible vibrancy and smooth flow from the fountain pen with this ink.I am truly in love with the overall performance of Iroshizuku ink and out of all the many inks I own, I will keep this as my number one. A truly perfect ink for all occasions and all types of paper. I am impressed with the visual beauty of these inks.

Pilot’s Iroshizuku is my favourite bottled ink brand.I have several colours, but consider “Tsuki-yo” (Moonlight Teal) to be my all-purpose, daily-use colour.I’ve always been drawn to brown & rusty colours, as well as particular shades of orange.Subsequently I recently decided to order “Fuyu-Gaki” (Winter Persimmon).I’m very pleased with this shade.It’s a beautiful deep orange with a hint of pink... a near-perfect replication of a persimmon’s rich-coloured interior. This shade, while vibrant, also posseses a “delicate” quality so prevalent in the colours indigenous to Japan.The “Fuyu-Gaki” shade is matte, with subtle shading along the edges.I’ve included a photo sample of it written in my Leuchtturm 1910 notebook with a Pilot Prera Iro-ai Fine nib pen.While the pinkish-orange shade may not be quite as versatile a colour for everyday writing (vs.Blue & Black inks), I really love this gorgeous shade./Another fine addition to my ever-growing collection of Iroshizuku’s premier inks.Thank you for reading,-CC, Amazon Prime Member-Reviewer

I didn't realize it was orange when I bought it so sadly I do regret it. Need to get my eyes checked haha but it's a lovley orange and flows well from my pen so I'll definitely buy from this company again. The packaging is very sturdy and simple wich I love and the best part is the bottle. My goodness such a beautiful bottle!
