Great printer, great support.
Buy this printer. It does what you want it to, perfectly. You're going to have to learn how to set it up though. It might not be the easiest thing to do, but, with the great phone support and a bit of patience you'll get it. The negative reviewers gave up too easily. So many different network setups, pcs etc...it's nearly impossible to be "plug and play". Yes, it will take some effort to get it to work with all the shippers methods, but blame them for not being uniform, not the printer. We have had 2. The first was just USB and it worked great but when we reconfigured our offices and added more PC users we upgraded to the Network printer. It has been flawless for over a year. Thousand of labels. We use it for shipping and our own custom labels. I am here to buy a second one so I dont have to switch between sizes. While you can, you have to change settings and it can get flustered. If you want a solid printer that once set up will work flawlessly buy this printer. If you want mindless "plug and play" good luck, every one I tried has it's own set of issues.

Good for home business
My wife runs a small business out of our house and averages about 5-10 orders daily across all platforms such as eBay, TikTok, Etsy, Facebook and her own website. She’s been printing shipping labels and packing slips on our inkjet printer which is Berry time consuming due do print speed and having to swap out paper to labels for every order she has to ship out. This thermal label printer cut down her prep time by 90%. I was amazed by how fast and convenient it is for her to print on this printer vs the ink jet printer.Install was super easy and Arkscan website has lots of videos to guide you step by step for each aspect of the setup which we found supper useful.I highly recommend this thermal label printer to anyone running a small business from home!

Installation, Tech Support and Ease of Use
I wanted a label printer that I could hook up through my ethernet. This worked great. Had a little difficulty, but tech support was great.Had some issues with default setup. Tech support was great.Had some issues with 2nd ebay account printing labels correctly. Tech support was great.I am very pleased with this label printer and tech support. One of the main reasons for choosing this label printer was tech support based in USA and, therefore, assuming contact would be easier and so far so good.

Arkscan label printer. The single best Amazon purchase I've made.
I print a huge number of shipping labels daily for business. I added a label roll holder (pictured), modified it with a piece of wood to hold large UPS 4x6 labels, available free at ups dot com. I've owned the USB version of this for months, love that as well - same great customer service, who respond in SECONDS to a request. In order to print via wifi and not have the printer at my router downstairs, I purchased 2 used apple airports (one upstairs is pictured) and extended the network. James at Arkscan fixed a very minor calibration issue fast for me, pointing out a fast way to fix things on my newer LAN label printer. thank you James! This is an ideal label printing setup that I've wanted for years and took time in setting up. I hope to encourage others to purchase this label printer if you at all print labels. The customer service is the best I've seen. ever. Youtube videos, customer support that gets back to you within SECONDS. Again, I don't write stellar reviews often, it would dilute things when there is truly an amazing company.I would not hesitate to purchase another one of these. When they come with wifi built in, I will be the first to upgrade. worth every penny!

Software did not work / Chinese language software
Could not get this to work on computer, per instruction went to their website and downloaded the recommended software and all written language is in Asian letter. Then downloaded another software from their website which is in English, this did not work, did not print anything or connect to the Arkscan label printer.Wasted 2 days then had to return the product.

Fantastic!
I purchased this for my new business after my orders skyrocketed. It was getting to the point that that I was fulfilling 30+ packages a day & I was really angering people who were standing in line behind me at the post office. I researched various options on Amazon & elsewhere & stumbled across this one. I almost bought a very popular competitor, but decided against it once I saw customers were having major issues with their labels. I opted to spend a little extra for this label printer & I am very happy with my purchase. It has printed hundreds of labels without failing a single time. Every single label is perfect. It's also very fast, which is important. Time is money. I also purchased the Arkscan labels & will continue to do so. If you're looking for a great quality & very reliable label printer, then this is the one.

Printer works fine; Mac LAN installation script is junk
This printer is totally fine. Works great. But whoever wrote the LAN installation scripts should be fired. It's total garbage. Pro tip: get the. MAC address from the status page and have your DHCP server assign a fixed IP to the thing BEFORE you install the driver. That saves you from needing to reinstall the driver once they reveal to you their garbage code doesn't support a non-static IP -- like code on EVERY OTHER LAN PRINTER IN THE WORLD DOES. Speaking of driver, most LAN printers these days, especially with macs, just work without you needing to load some dodgy driver software from some website somewhere and enter your root password. Sheesh! Hello, Arkscan, 1997 called and wants its printer installation paradigm back. Anyway, did I say the printer works OK. Other than the crap software they want you to use, it's fine.

IP based printing works good. VM to VM on a Server with QuickBooks Desktop using UPS app in QB.
I have a difficult setup and I was concerned it might not work but it is a great printer.I run on a iMac with a Win 10 virtual machine. That VM connects to a second VM machine on a Server 2019 with Quickbooks Desktop installed. I use the UPS shipping app inside QB for printing shipping labels.Took a like bit but it works very good.
