This is a full set of separate feeler gauges, starting at .001". The vinyl sleeve is coated with oil, which isn't completely bad but the surface tension makes getting the thinner gauges out a problem and getting them back in very difficult. I found a trick of sliding one of the thicker (.010, or so) gauges into the sleeve with the thin gauge, then holding the thin gauge while pulling the thicker one out. It's a small negative with a simple solution. It's a very reasonably priced set and works well.

I have had a lot of feeler gauge sets in my life but this set seems to be easier to use than the fold up type. They're well marked and the fold up case is marked with the size as well. All measured within ± .0001" . There's a little color variation across the set due a masking issues when they etched the markings but they're rust free. I cleaned each one and wipe them down with oil. Very nice set and I would highly recommend it.

These are really nice set and it's nice to have them separate rather than the sets that have them all together. Makes it easier to use for checking valve clearances on your motorcycle. The vinyl book holder is nice, just wipe them off when you are done and put them away safely.

works just fine for my uses, i like this type of feeler gauge. the only issue is I have a hard time reading the numbers so i relabeled with a permanent magic marker, my eyes are not so good anymore..

Just what the mechanic (me) needed. The length is great as is the accuracy. The price makes this a really nice buy.

Comes in a very nice folding plastic holder, the gauges are nice and clean, and a pleasure to use. I checked their size with a very good micrometer and they are all dead nuts on the money... let's say within 1/10,000 of an inch accuracy or better. A few had a very tiny burr on them, but a quick rub on 2000 grit polishing paper knocked that right off. Overall, a great deal for $20, and of excellent quality.

These exact shims in this case are what I used in my job as a Tool & Die maker for decades. They are the best shims available, and are precisely sized and dead flat. These are professional quality all the way. You can't get a better pack of shims at any price.They are way overkill for woodworking (my hobby now), but I'm used to the best so there ya go.
