Worthy Tool
Super quality product. If you want to carve your own rubber stamps or wood you can’t go wrong with this tool. It’s easy to hold and control for fine detail carving. Worthy tool.

Great tool with a flaw?
I had heard nothing but fabulous reviews of Pfeil. Every linocut artist seems to have a set of these or another high end tools. The tool I received seemed sharp and looked straight and symmetrical. But as I began carving, one side of the "V" seems skewed and will not stay sharp. I used to carve wood and am pretty proficient in sharpening. Don't know what to think of this development. Also, I am not seeing that this- very good tool- is substantially better than a Japanese version I bought for a third the price.

Perfect LetterBoxing Tool
I bought this "icepick" tool for my daughter-in-law, before I learned about her LetterBoxing hobby (it was #1 on her WishList)... She LOVES it! Says it carves the finest of details on her handmade stamps, easier than other tools used in the past. At this point, she's using this tool exclusively! So that's a pretty good recommendation ;)

Pricy but the Best!
I've been carving for almost ten years and have discovered that buying good tools is key to carving for fun, without forcing tools into the wood. Pfeil knives, chisels and palm tools simply work well, stay sharp longer and are a joy to carve with. Not cheap but the very best carving tools I have found!

Comfortable to use. Very fine cuts. A very nice addition to the standard linocut cutting tools.
