Rockville Commercial Restaurant Bluetooth Amplifier+10 3.5" Black Cube Speakers

I had a client request a sound system for her Health Spa, which required pumping relaxing music into 10 rooms. The system had to be affordable, which precluded the commercial systems I usually install. Through the internet I found this Rockville system, complete with 10 wall mount speakers, at a very reasonable price. What made this system great, is that it was a 70-volt system, which makes installing the speakers a breeze. No need to worry about having to parallel and series wire speakers to maintain the impedance. With the 70-volt system all speakers are wired in parallel. Just buy any quality copper speaker wire with a rating for wall / attic installation (CL3 rating, 16ga recommended). Any future speaker additions simply get added in parallel (just don't exceed about 80% of the amplifier rating, to keep the amp happy). A nice feature on the speakers was that they had taps for 1.5, 3, and 6 watts, which allowed me to adjust the speaker power to the room size. Small room 1.5 watts, regular room 3 watts, and large room 6 watts. The speakers are just the right size for good sound quality, but not to be too noticeable hanging on the wall. The 60 watt amplifier was more than sufficient for the final 30 watt speaker load. The system is being fed from a computer via one of the auxiliary Line inputs. The system has been in service for two days, and the sound quality is great. I am happy with the installation, and so is the client. NOTE: 1. This system ships in two packages, but Amazon only provides one tracking number. This almost sent me into a panic, when I received the amp, but not the speakers. An e-mail to Rockville confirmed that the speakers shipped from another location and would arrive later. 2. The power level of this system (60 watt) is just right for a quiet location such as an office or Spa. If you need something for a noisy place like a restaurant or store, or want different volume controls for different zones, I recommend going with one of the larger, more powerful systems that Rockville has.

Easy to set up

Sound quality bad especially when you turn volume up. This product is definitely not worth the $400 + price tag!

I had these installed by a pro. They looked nice. They were quite heavy, and seemed legit. Unfortunately, the sound was getting slightly distorted when the volume amplified. I am unsure if these speakers, in particular, were defective. This is the experience I had.

Mediocre sound, not impressed. eq quality is that of an elevator speaker. Installation was simple.

Speakers work great, but amp is only good for one zone.

After 1 year the amplifier died and had to buy a new system. I went with a JBL unit from Sweet water. Don’t waste your money on this expensive piece of junk. JBL is a far better unit and cost less.
