This cage is such a great starter cage for gerbils. We didn’t want one of those cheap wire cages that bend or warp to wear they could escape or where little fingers or kitty paws could get in. This is such a pretty grey and is made of real wood. My husband assembled it and it seems that it was quite easy for him to assemble. We haven’t used it yet as my sons birthday is next week and he has no idea he is getting gerbils yet. I was able to put a good amount of bedding in and I like how it has more than one access point for observing and handling. The wire on top is definite strong enough to withhold a cat and keep them out. Overall, I am very pleased with this cage.Con:No where to hang a water bottle, but I can live with that. We are quite nifty and creative with making things work.

After purchasing a double rabbit hutch from them, I was impressed with their customer service (had shipping carrier issues, which they promptly handled), and the quality of their products for the price point. I purchased this cage for a Teddy Bear hamster. It is sturdy and nice, the storage rack on the bottom is a huge bonus! However, if your pet is a big chewer keep in mind this product probably won’t work for you, as it is made entirely of wood! A fair warning- assembly is a pain. You need a drill, and around an hour of free time. That’s really the only downfall.

Although I really like this cage, seems it will work well, it has some flaws. One of the plexiglass panes is cracked, and the little house was NOT well designed. The panels to put the little hose together weren't the correct size, part of the opening on the front was messed up, and doesn't set well. I did 4 stars because it's really neat, but needs to be cheaper.

This cage was so disappointing. We bought this in hopes it would make it easier for our daughter to care for her guinea pigs(I see now it specifically states hamsters.)We were so excited for this cage because it looked so nice compared to the others, as we started to assemble it we were noticing how small it was, not only in width but how close the ledges were together. Not to mention it’s made of wood...which for small creatures like guinea pigs and hamsters that love to chew seems really dumb. Our guinea pigs chewed up this cage in the first 5 minutes and the edges of the ledges were completely chewed by the next day. The bottom of this cage I thought would be easier to clean since you were just supposed to pull it out. What I came to figure out was that instead of it being easier, the poop and shavings all just end up falling out of the back when you pull the bottom out. On top of poop falling down the back, the ledges get covered in poop too and it’s almost impossible to get it all out. There’s not much room for toys or feeding things(bowls/hay/water bottle) and it felt super cramped for our guineas. Sadly we are switching them back to their old cage and this cage will be a wasted $88 purchase.

It came around the time it was said to arrive, the boxing was kinda ragged but plenty of Styrofoam and wrap around such. Everything arrived with nothing missing, it even came with spare screws. My issues; some of the wooden panels had screws already inside the holes that you needed other screws to be inside, the wood had cracks and part of the glass was cracked (shown in pictures) these things ofcourse are not certain to happen to everyone ordering this cage, but it'd be nice if the wood held up a bit better. One of the cracks caused the screw to go in incorrectly but as you can see its put together with no wobbles or leaning issues. It recommends a power tool, but it really means you NEED one, or else you won't be able to screw holes for the level panels on the inside. None of them have holes, but as far as putting the whole cage together without the inside panels, you'll only need a screw driver.

This product was exactly as expected. Arrived timely and in nice packaging. Instructions were easy to read. It says 2 people but I was able to do it by myself in under and hour. Fits a rather large 9In wheel which was my main concern. My hamster seems to love it now that she has had a few days to adjust. I would suggest if you have small children that may try to open the latches without you to find a way to lock the bottom latch. When it is open it would be very easy for any animal to get out. But no complaints. Works perfect for the space and looks great.

Ive been a guinea pig owner for a long time, i decided to switch it up and get my single pig a new cage. The description states "anti chew", She started chewing on it from day one and for other pig owners i want to say, this cage is too small. Pigs need their exercise and she cant run around this cage. The reason i gave it 2 stars is because its a very beautiful design, But as most of us prefer the cage to be in good quality over design, my overall rating is 1.

It's perfect for my hedge hog but I wouldn't suggest purchasing this cage if you have mice or hamsters. The wood that it's made out of is very cheap. They would be able to chew right through the cage.
