Saw Lightning Heard Indie Funk
Great new stuff from Beck. He’s got his own niche thing going on. I bought this on the same day as Queens Of The Stone Age’s Songs for the Deaf on vinyl. The inside gatefold sleeves are eerily similar trivia fans.

Sounds great on vinyl
Not much love for this recent Beck effort but I really like its futuristic stylings. Sounds great on wax too, nice stereo production.

A great diverse album
If you’re a big fan of Becks Music, then you know that the music he makes is always different and diverse, this album reminds me slightly of David Bowie in places, with its mellow sounds and spacey feeling, The track hyperspace, is a great example of this, listening to it you feel like you could be drifting through space at immense speed.Nice album.

Audiophile cd quality!!
As usual great sounding cd from beck, I’ve a £35000 hifi, & his recordings are always great! Not like most mass produced crap, have all his albums!

perseverance pays off
First couple of listens I wasn't overly impressed but that changed as I persevered and now I see it as a shimmering pop masterpiece. Part of Beck's spectrum of colours

Ignore the bad reviews
The packagaing and delivery were ace. I am surprised why this album is so so underrated. Its is beautiful and sublime and brilliant.

Another good beck album
It's basically an electro version of his album sea Change, so it's a good listen.

Road trip music for the twenty-first century
Beck has matured beautifully, and created a valuable record to shine a ray of Californian sunshine on an otherwise sombre/sober world. Thank you, Mr. Hanson!
