I do like the cords on these Phillips. I have other ones that are even better, meaning the cord goes exactly vertical instead of on the 45. But this is the one that fit my needs and still has the nice cord.

Four well-spaced outlets is equal to six narrow, cramped ones that you can't use all of.Looks better, feels better and functions better.Modest 450 joules protection, could be more.I like the braided cord for durability, even taping to the rug.4' plug is okay if you are using this basically as a short extension from a wall plug. 5-10' would be better.If Philips lives up to its brand quality, this should last a long time. Very versatile to have one of these.To make this 5 stars, make the cord at least 5', up the joules protection to 700 and add an automatic shutoff for power spike. And it would be great to have this version, 3 outlets and 2-3 USB's, same footprint, the USB's could be angled off the bottom corner to give more space.

The cord is a good solid feel and tangle free. The surge protector itself is good. I have my PS4, Xbox one, Sony x950h tv, and a Sony HT G700 soundbar plugged in to it. It protects up to 1700 watts. Doesn't have a light.

I really like the surge bar protector. It took less than 2 minutes to set up. Very easy. Be cautious when ordering because they charged & gave me 2. I ordered one, so I kept the one I ordered & having difficulty returning the one I don’t want. I wish there was an easier way to get quality customer service & not poor.
