Bought this to replace an Evolution 100 that failed after 9 years, not bad.From the dimensions I expected it to fit the hole made for the previous model but this one is nearly 20mm wider, so some refitting of shelves was necessary.Its quieter but much the same in doing a good job, I would recommend.Note that the box states 'Evolution 100 Supreme' not 'Evolution 100 S' as on the listing.

Easy to fit as replacement for old unit. Very quiet and smooth running compared to old unit. Batch feed kit is safer IMHO to supplied pneumatic switch. However, installation instructions for batch switch unit lacks one key step. See my review of batch switch unit.

Easy to install. Not to noisy and get rid of everything. Put a whole chicken bones through no problem. Expensive but worth every penny.

I recently purchased this garbage disposal unit after receiving it and installing it I was unable to get it to work, The disposal unit came with an extra item called an air switch, however I could not see any means to connect this air switch to the disposal unit, I called Amazon Customer service to try and get some advice on how to install this air switch, before that I went online trying to research how to install the air switch to the garbage disposal unit and there was no installation of an air switch that I could find, so I called Amazon again and explained my situation and asked to have some communication with the manufacturer on how to install the air switch , I was sent a link from Amazon but this link was totally useless. There were two numbers each number promptly cut me off without any opportunity to speak to anybody about my problem, as I could not get the unit to work without the air switch attached I called Amazon again saying that the unit was faulty as I had plugged it in, but it still would not , make any sound as I was not getting any help from Amazon or the manufacturer. I requested a refund label from Amazon they were happy to provide me with with labour to return it,, , my point I did not buy the unit to return it. I needed to use it for its purpose, Amazon and manufacturer were no good at all, so I started to study the unit more closely to see if I could find how this switch was attached to unit, I found a little black box which looked quite insignificant, held down by two screws. I thought perhaps there might be a fuse under this box , after undoing the screws, I found a little tiny nipple which was where the air switch should be connected at that point I realise that was the solution to my problem and after I was able to connect the air switch the unit triggered into life, so due to my own diligence and persistent I was able to get my garble disposal unit to function properly, the support I needed from Amazon was not to return the unit it was how I could get some practical advice and help to locate this air switch Nipple, For them not to be so eager for me to return the unit and quickly supply me with a return label.

the first item arrived damaged but amazon had replaced it with a new one, so no complaints.got it installed a week ago and it was fairly easy to install (for my plumber).so far it works great, very silent and easy to operate, seems to be handling everything i feed him easily, did not try to challenge it too much though (yet).very happy so far, if i see it lasts long without hussles i'll change to 5 stars
