PCB have a massive ground plan that is just absorbing your heat? Solder wick and sucker just doing nothing for you? Grab some of these they are cheap and they work. If you bend them you are using them wrong, let the heat do the job don't force them and they should last you forever. Also if you do bend one just try it bent, I bent one of these at a 90 to make working visibility easier and it still worked just fine.

These are great for removing components from a board when a solder sucker or wick just doesn’t do it. Heat up the pipe/pin and as the solder melts, you can push the pipe through the board. Since they are stainless steel, the solder doesn’t stick to them and when the solder hardens, you can remove the pipe and remove the component. Super easy.Many sizes that you can use for different components/situations.I’d almost given up on one project as the solder sucker and wick couldn’t do the trick and these were perfect.Yeah they are cheaply made but they do the trick.

For hard to remove parts small pcb. The bigger needles are of no use.

These are OK, but the handles are a little weak. So don't expect to be jamming this down a solder hole with too much force or they will break.

very cheap and pooly made - the QC on these things is laughable.. handles aren't even on straight.

These aren't going to win any awards for quality but I'm fine with that. They're not going to lay forever no matter how well they're made and if rather not throw away any more plastic than I have to. That being said, they aren't terrible quality and they work as advertised. I don't use them often since most of my rework is surface mount instead of through-hole but after a bit of trial and error I found them to be a valuable tool in my electronics-modding arsenal.

These are pretty nice when you take the price vs. quality. They are not top of the line but are still a great deal. The actually do work and work very well. The pins are not perfectly straight and are inconsistent from one box to the other. But at this price, and 3 complete box sets, I can certainly live with it. If you are on a budget these are a great option that actually do the job they are meant to do.
