My favorite Sara Lee product
I wish these were easier to find in stores. I only see the ones with pecans. Great packaging in dry ice and quick delivery.

This item was a family favoroite but for some reason its gone from stores
and i saw it on amazon and was really excited to get it again. For some reason the product is super gross and nothing like it was before. Definitely would not recommend, It wasn't amazons fault but it is also not refundable.

This past shipment
Entire shipment had thawed at some point because it tasted like it and the pies had a different texture. All previous were fine but this box was trash.

OH THE GOOD OLD FOOD DAYS
I haven’t bought this lately…it stopped being in the supermarket. So many years ago, my mom and I would buy this from the supermarket and it tasted like perfect sweetness infused with magical butter. It sad to read the reviews of its fall from grace and to believe in my heart that it has indeed lost any semblance of what it used to be.

Comfort in a box
Just like I remembered. A memory in a box. These are no longer sold anywhere near where I live. Not for years. Package was wonderfully prepared. Items were frozen in a new sealed case, in a styrofoam box with dry ice. We are so happy!!!

Inedible!
How can anyone eat this? Sara Lee used to be a dependable, good brand. But this cake was seriously inedible, and I had to throw all of it away after trying to eat one piece. The middle was doughy even after I baked it the recommended 20 -25 minutes. (I tried 20, then 5 more, which didn't help at all. The flavor was sweet - just sugary, with neither " buttery" or even vanilla flavor. We tried eating just the edge. It was the only part with the proper texture, but no flavor and we finally gave up in disgust and just put it all in the disposal.

Not as good as it used to be
I grew up eating this coffee cake a few times a week and loved it! Hadn’t seen it around on store shelves in many years so splurged for the delivery. Sara Lee must have changed the recipe cause the cakes are slightly smaller and thinner. They used to have large buttery sugary chunks on top and gooey cinnamon inside. This is no longer the case. The health freaks have ruined yet another good thing. Anyways still decent and somewhat reminiscent of the old stuff but just not nearly the same or as good. Won’t order again but it was worth a shot!Edit: After trying another couple they’re pretty good but still could use more cinnamon. Bumping up a star.
