This radio has worked very well, it transmits and receives great. The weather channels also come in very clear. You just have to remember to pair it with a quality antenna. I’ve had good luck with a Shakespeare. It also looks great and the backlights are bright!

Great radio for the money. Paired it with a 4ft Shakespeare antenna. Easy set up and install.

The media could not be loaded. Coupled with a GPS receiver the radio is able to receive NMEA coordinates and display this on the screen. Not only that but the options allow you to adjust the format of the GPS output on the screen to one of the 3 common layouts. This is tremendously helpful and a feature that other radios lack!The display is bright and clear and surpassed the one I was replacing and another I bought to compare side by side for about $20 cheaper. The bump in features is well worth the $20 in my opinion.The mic feels solid and is well constructed and following this back to the body it the buttons have a tactile feel as they are pressed similar to a keyboard. This gives confidence in selecting channels and knowing that when you press a button it is actually registering with the device.The unit itself feels to be made of impact resistant plastic and has some weight to it which gives it a higher quality feel compared to other units on the market.Again I could not be more pleased with the features and functionality of this device. If you're on the fence, get it, you'll probably love it as much as I do!

The box was delivered unsealed and in the box showing what it was. I get a lot of parts delivered and they're usually in a bigger unmarked box. Other than that it's a great radio, small and light. Came Wirth all the required hardware and plenty of power cable to reach the fuse panel. Was an easy install

I bought this so I would have a second VHF as a back up. Installing this was quick and easy. It is a do it yourself job. Signal is received loud and clear. Better than the radio I already have in my boat.

Has a lot of great features for the price point. Easy to use and set up.

Read the fine print. All of it. The photo clearly shows the GPS coordinates. My handheld radio and phone have internal GPS. I didn't pick that it is an extra $100 for the external antenna. I would not have purchased or installed it had I picked that. The image should have included the words optional GPS (or GPS not included). My bad. I always have to assume that there is a catch. Shame on you seller.
