Great guitar
I bought this guitar for me but once my son saw it and played it he had to have it. He ‘gave’ me his fxg800c Yamaha in exchange. Which is also nice but no where near as good.This is the one you want in this price range.Playing the Yamaha takes a but more work and talent than what I have. This Ibanez made me sound like a better player when I briefly had it. I’ll probably get one for myself sooner or later.

Good sound, a fairly light guitar, this is an excellent instrument for a beginner to fall in love with music! Ibanez is a renowned name that many worldwide known musicians use.

Cheaply made, fell over and the entire neck cracked
I had this guitar for a bit over a year and while leaning against a wall it slowly slide to the ground.Yes, I should be more careful, but I have had this happen with dozens of guitars in my life and they have never come out more than just out of tune.The sound on this guitar is also extremely tinny, the lows are fairly absent.Overall, not happy with this guitar at all.

I so wanted to love this guitar. I still want to love this guitar. But, sadly, I don't. Here are my pros and cons.ProsIt is stunningly beautiful. Deep blue, shiny, pearly accents. Very nice to look at.LightweightSmall body which would be great for someConsThe Sound - to me, it is a little thin/tinny.Does not hold a tune. Maybe that will get better with time, but it is always offBuilt in tuner is finicky. Especially when the battery is not at 100%Batteries died fast. I have had it for 2 months and need to replace them already (even though they have only been used for tuning).I will be keeping it an playing it, but wish I had done some more research before buying (shame on me for buying online without trying it out somewhere first).
