👍🏼
I’ve used this for a couple of years and never had any problems….. I had to return my unit and get a new one and when it came back it didn’t have this in it so I bought a new one….. hope to have the same kick from this one as I did the other one

Original garmin
It is a original garmin replacement. It is just like the one that came with my alpha.

Great for someone who wants to attach and remove their device often
This clip was purchased for a Garmin Etrex 10. I actually think the design is fine, but mine had a mechanical problem. The concept is that the clip has two parts: A belt component that attaches to your belt and a device component that attaches to the Garmin GPS device. The two pieces mate by clipping together. There is a swivel in the belt component and the device component stays attached and is released with a trigger built into the belt component. You can remove the device by pressing the trigger and your bet attachment stays on your belt. It's really not a bad product, actually. The one complaint is that it is a little less compact than the standard belt clip, and it could be prone to failure after many uses.

Nice, but ridiculous it has to be purchased as an accessory.
Nicely made out of quality materials and provides a much more stable mount on both belt and pack than the carabiner clip included with the $450 inReach. Seriously: come on Garmin! Why isn't this included with the unit? At a retail price point of under $8 (shipped, and in glossy retail packaging, no less), this product costs no more than $2. Why not just include it with the $450 unit to begin with? This is a lot more useful than the carabiner clip that was included and leaves the unit hanging, swinging, and bouncing.

Excellent Accessory for the Garmin Oregon 450!
I am sorry that I used the Carabiner attachment for my Oregon 450 as long as I did. I like this one much better! It attaches very easily and securely to the waist belt of my day pack. I can easily remove the GPS from the clip, accomplish what I need to do, and then just as easily reinsert it into the clip with a very prominent "click" verifying it is indeed secure again. And it will just as easily and securely attach to any belt up to an inch and a half wide (1 1/4 - 1 1/2 being ideal). Worth noting: when I was looking to purchase one of these, I saw a You Tube video review (not sure where) that showed an Oregon 450 easily falling out of one of these clips when turned upside down. Perhaps that was another make, I don't recall. But I can assure you that that cannot happen with this Garmin one. Both the GPS attachment and the separable clip are both very secure in all positions!

Most fragile part of the whole setup.
I have had two of these clips fail in about 10-15 uses each. At least they are cheap to replace. Bottom line: just not durable enough for the task and activities one uses it in.The engineering and materials are not up to the same level of durability of the handset and are under-designed for the environment and tasks one would use them in -- hiking, hunting, bushwhacking, running. The plastic notch on this clip that secures to the knob on the handset is too soft and wears quickly, causing the handset to not lock in place. Second, the metal spring and the manner by which it is secured inside the housing is too delicate for the abuse the device may receive.

Better than the carabiner clip
I've had Garmins for years that used this kind of belt clip (it was originally designed by Nokia for their mobile phones if you are old enough to remember them) and I like it much better than the carabiner clip the GPSMap 66i comes with. It is easier to access the GPS unit one-handed and you can clip it to the front of your belt for easy access. Some people have complained the clip can fall apart if you're not careful. That's been a problem with this clip for years. All I do is run a bead of epoxy around the joint where the two halves come together (when I first get it, before it comes apart!) and I haven't had any problem.

Belt clip
Nice product but has to be removed each time you want to charge battery as clip covers battery charging port

Attacco Clip a Cintura per Gps Serie Dakota, Gpsmap 62, Oregon, Etrex
The media could not be loaded. Ottimo!!

Ottimo prodotto, pratico e sembrerebbe robusto.
