Q: For anyone who has ordered this product recently, is there is expiration date on the product? If so, what is it?

I ordered in November 2014 and the best used by date is June 2015. It recommends storing in the refrigerator

Q: Any difference in roasted vs raw as in taste or nutrition?

Taste wise, there is a definite difference. Roasted nuts tend to be crunchier whereas raw nuts are often soft. Part of this is because roasted nuts keep better. Unless they are really fresh, the texture and flavor of raw nuts will deteriorate much faster, even when refrigerated. I usually put mine in my morning oatmeal after I've cooked it. That way I like the raw. But for just plain snacking, the roasted tastes better. Unless the roasted nuts have added oil and salt. (Yuck!)Nutritionally, raw nuts are marginally superior to roasted. But the difference is so small that I buy what I think tastes better.

Q: Are there any additives like salt or peanut oil?

No added salt. No peanut oil. Just cashews only in ingredient statement.There is 3 mg. of salt in them, but I believe that is naturally in the cashew. It measures 0% of RDA.I absolutely love them! I've had 3 - 4#bags so far.
