First class machine and service.
Excellent tool with an excellent easy adjustable set of ball bearings blade guides top and bottom, I can't stress how important this is for a bandsaw, Charnwood have nailed it with the blade running through 6 separately adjustable bearings. It also includes a very solid cast iron table with a handy extension bar and a sturdy mitre guide that runs in a ground track WITH ZERO WOBBLE! The machine is also very quiet when running.Buy with confidence as Charnwood prove to have a second to non aftercare service, with proper engineers who with speak to customers. First rate seller.

Patience required
So if you decide to buy one, make sure you order a big dose of patience with it. As I recall, aside from the assembly there are 13 parts that need adjustment. In terms of the assembly, the tricky bit is installing the cast iron table. I ended up using a suitably sized allen key to line up the most accessible bolt hole. Having assembled it all, on to the adjustments. Then you find you need to remove the table to adjust the lower guide rollers. Back to the allen key.Having assembled it and patiently adjusting everything guided by a few youtube videos- on to test cuts. I was impressed. Cutting 4 inch thick Scottish Elm required a little patience in respect of feed rate, but it worked- straight and square. So I give it 4 stars because it is a pain to assemble and adjust but it works extremely well in my home workshop.

Pay the extra and go for this over the budget 8" bandsaws
Returned a small 8" bandsaw in the ÂŁ~150 price range and went for this. It's a machine worth having compared to a machine you avoid using. If you're considering a smaller bandsaw, you're likely a infrequent hobby user, so you'll find the need to release the tension before letting it sit. The tension leaver on the back of this for quickly releasing the tension alone maes this worth it.The table is very good quality, fence isn't perfect, but honestly more than good enough for any use of a machine this size (and if you really needed it you could use a clamp to reinforce the fence but I really doubt I'll ever need to).The slide out table extension is just a great feature.
