Well like others have stated this is most likely OEM water pump with the Toyota embossed letters ground off so they can sell aftermarket. Comes with a nice gasket seal too.

This pump worked great and priced right only reason for deducting one star was the packaging was torn and gasket had a small knick on it, but did not affect performance.

Perfect for my Toyota 2.7L engine
I did a search online to see what company made the water pump for a 2005 Toyota Tacoma with a 2.7L engine. It appears that it's AISIN. I ordered one from Amazon. 100% perfect fit. No problems so far. My original water pump started to weep after 199,000 miles. When I removed it I saw the AISIN name on it.

Factory Pump
This pump was ordered for my 2004 Tacoma. It is the exact same part as what you would get from the dealer at half the price. Aisin is the original manufacturer for Toyota. The pump I received even had the Toyota name ground off. It also comes with the metal gasket, not some cheap paper gasket.I would not hesitate to buy this again when I need it. The factory pump made it to 330k.
