For the money, it was worth taking a chance. Within the first couple of nights of using this it has been fantastic. I have had to have it on the lowest setting or it gets really cold! It has meant that I have had much better sleep for the first time in a long time! If there is one gripe, its that the hoses supplied are a little short, but that is not an issue that can't be overcome by a purchase of some silicone hose. Well done for making a fantastic little product that is very effective!

I’ve been using this during the recent hot snap and yes, it does the job.I bought a cheap mattress topper to place between the cooling pad and my sheet, as I didn’t want to feel I was sleeping on an incontinence protector. I find running it at full blast 20 minutes before bed, then turning down to the lowest setting for the rest of the night gives me a good balance between cool bed and sleep undisturbed by noise.On the downside, it uses a fair amount of water and I think I’m going to struggle when I want to disconnect the hose from the machine…

The mattress worked but only on the high setting, which is very noisy and not as advertised. I requested a return, and to my dismay it was going to cost more than the purchase price of the product . So I requested if they could send me a UK address label through amazon so I knew for sure it was safe . However I got a UK address but only via text and eventually got a refund . Not at all what I would expect buying through amazon as a prime member but I must stress amazon were NOT responsible and very helpful

After trying the Ooler which is almost quadruple the price, I had to give this five stars for value alone. Unlike it's competitors this cooler had me waking up shivering when I tried it on the highest setting. Thankfully, it has a broad range of fan speeds so you can find what feels just right.Unfortunately, the water tank is a little on the short side. Perhaps it's just the arid English summer but mine seems to get really thirsty and runs empty some nights (thankfully the pump shuts off to prevent overheating). The cooler doesn't have a valve to prevent backflow when it's off so it HAS to be placed higher than the bed. I learned this the hard way. Even with good placement up to half a tanks worth of water can backflow from the bed once it's off so topping it up while in use requires precision. The cooler has this neat system of preventing damage to the internal electronics when full by wetting itself, flooding your room and ruining your laminate flooring in the process. I'd highly recommend a towel placed underneath until you figure out it's mysterious ways. Also, if you're planning on taking this camping, as the listing boldly claims is possible, you better bring your trusty USB-A to barrel power connector adapter because you sure aren't getting sent one.With all that said, it works.

I've always been too hot in bed, I can rarely sleep under a duvet and it's not an age problem, I've always has this issue.So I bought one of these machines thinking 'it probably won't work' ... but it does!However here are the downsides.1)It has a pump which hums, and a fan which makes a noise like any fan, annoying for light sleepers.2) The tubes which are provided are too short and the unit is shown sitting on the bedside table right alongside the sleeping persons head, which would not suit most people. It really needs to be on the other side of the room AT LEAST. You can't put it on the floor or it will leak, it has to be higher than the mattress. I bought some additional plastic tube, and connectors (6mm) and put the main unit in the next room.3) It doesn't have a 24hr timer, just a simple 'kitchen timer' type, i.e. you can set it from 1 to 12 hrs to run, but a lot of the time you won't need it running all night, just certain periods. So I accessed the interior electronics (only 12v!) and connected a 24 timer to the pump. Interestingly, just running the pump, without the cooling by evaporation fan, actually provided noticeable cooling. But it's cold in the UK at the moment so I don't need much cooling, perhaps in the summer I will also activate the fan evaporation full cooling system. You can run the pump without the fan.4) It really needs some sort of thermostat, any heating or cooling system normally has a thermostat, or it will just run the whole time.5) The plastic mat which contains the cooling pipes, (about the size of a double bed) and sits on the mattress is slightly lumpy so I've put a mattress cover, and a blanket, plus the under sheet, over it so I can't feel the undulations. This doesn't prevent the cooling effect.This mat gets 'rucked up' and wrinkled and really needs elasticated straps which fit to the corners of the bed and keep it stretched out, otherwise you can feel it getting wrinkly and creased.So in summary it does work, it's a great concept,and it definitely stops me overheating, but it's a major fiddle to get it working to suit my purposes.I suppose it's quite cheap and I believe you can get more sophisticated ones, for a higher price. So I will continue testing it in the meantime, hopefully the manufacturer might see my comments.

It works, is compact and really helped to cool off BUT I almost became single in the process as my significant other HATED the noise :( not quiet... I'm left back to square 0 with the heat....I was so looking forward to a good night sleep... If only was quiet my life would be perfect 🤯😭

The product works very well. No complaints from that point of view. However, due to there being no English summer to speak of this year I didn’t open it until September when we had a sudden heatwave. Then I realised I paid for a double but they sent me a single. My fault for not checking and now I am out of the easy return period. So if you order make sure that they send the right thing. BUT apart from that it’s made sleeping so much easier.

I was desperate. I had tried everything to keep cool at night. Moved from one bed to another sometimes 4 times in a night.Having only a sheet as a covering failed because I heated the mattress.This product does what is essential. It keeps the mattress cool.
