Great for squatting
I am 61. Been squatting on and off for years. Purists say squat with no heels - just get that ankle dorsiflexion and you’ll be fine. Maybe so but I hurt my lower back again doing that. These shoes are great. The heel elevation allows me to squat all the way down while keeping my back more or less perpendicular to the ground. Sole is hard so you won’t feel squishy. I highly recommend these shoes.

Great beginners lifting shoes.
I have always wanted some power lifting shoes but they were always out of the price range. It was hard justifying spending so much money on an items when I am only a beginner and my Converse was doing what I need them to do (provide flat support).I came across these shoes which was within my budget and figured I would try them out.Great product! I have a better understanding for the need for Weight lifting specific shoes. While these shoes are not as flashy as the 200-300+ pairs, it does EXACTLY the same thing without breaking the bank. Great option especially for Flat footed people such as myself since these shoes do stretch a bit.

Awesome Squat Shoes for the money!
I had tried my friend's Nike Romaleos 2 and really enjoyed squatting in them. But I could not find a price that made me want to buy the Nikes, even secondhand. I love lifting, but I also like my savings! These adidas were available for a reduced price of around $65 when I saw them listed, so I got them in a size 6.5.Since I have tiny feet, these adidas are not too narrow for me, which I know some lifters have complained about in some reviews. If you have wide feet, I would go with a Nike or Reebok brand shoe.I really like how comfy and light these shoes feel compared to the Romaleos. The uppers are fabric, not leather/plastic, which makes for a more flexible and breathable shoe. I know most lifters do not want something flexible out of a weightlifting/squat shoe, but I work retail, so the added comfort in the sole and the flexibility at the toes is much appreciated after a full day on my feet. The few times I tried my friend's Romaleos made my feet super sore because the very bottom of the shoes below the removable insoles are lined with wood. But these adidas still feel just as stable for me even with their slightly cushier feel. The added ankle mobility due to the heel was nice, even though I never had ankle mobility issues. Now I can squat heavier weight deeper when I wear these. They feel very stable and solid, and there is no slipping or sliding of my foot inside the shoe when I handle heavier weights. They do not feel as compressive on my feet as the Romaleos did, but I like that, because it feels more comfortable. Tightening the laces and velcro tends to do it for me if I do want a snug fit that session.I would recommend these squat shoes if you also are on your feet a lot and have very tired feet. I also think they are a good shoe for a budget-conscious lifter who wants a quality brand name product but doesn't wanna break the bank. I have been using these since August 2020 and they are awesome!

Nice shoes but narrow
Liked these a lot but i have bunions and am wide at the ball of foot area, there is no way these were comfortable. I'd suggest buying if you have free returns or try on in person before purchasing.

Perfect
It is perfect but before buying think about how wider is your feet, it is for non-wide feet

Good for big feet
Purchased for a man with size 13 feet that run wide. He says they fit well; this is his go to brand.
