Watched a video where Jessa Seewald made this. It looked so easy so I made it. It was very easy and my husband and I loved it. He said it was way better than the fried rice that I usually make.

Not like those spices produced in Holland..Much to wet & rich. Loses the orginality of the spice with this product.

I'm always looking for new ways to spruce up our meals and came across this rice mix so I decided to give it a try. I purchased two packets of it because I need to double the recipe to feed my entire family. The instructions said to add 4 cups of cooked rice per packet. I first cooked up my veggies (some carrots and sweet peas) then I added 6 cups of rice to my wok. I decided I would start out with 6 cups of rice instead of the 8. So glad that I did. Once opening the packet I was shocked to see how little mix you actually get. It comes in a small plastic bag. The contents reminds me of the flavor packets you would get in a pack of ramen noodles, except it's a little bit bigger. The mix is basically a wet glob of spices. I added 2 packs into my 6 cups of rice and veggies. I had to add water to get it to thin out some. After stiring a good 5 minutes or so I was excited to try the results.I was so disappointed. It was as dry as the Sahara desert and it had very little taste. The only taste that came through was the sweet peas. There was absolutely no flavor coming from the actual flavoring packets. I checked the packets to make sure I didn't receive expired packs, but nope....it was just tasteless. Thankfully, I had a bottle of teriyaki sauce and some sriracha on hand, otherwise it would have been a very dull meal. I had some left over so I gave my dog a scoop. He took one bite and walked away. I've seen my dog eat his own turds so that should give you some indication on how disappointing this stuff is.I'm disappointed that I spent over ten bucks on two flavor packets that had no flavor. I wouldn't recommend this brand and won't be purchasing it again.
