Foster FPD-010A with bit Pistol Grip Drill Machine for Home (10 mm Chuck Size)

Of all the drills in my mini workshop ,Bosch GRE 10, Black&decker, ibell (corded Electric) to battery powered Bosch, flipkart smartbuy, ibell brushless my most favourite is this Foster machine purchased first in 2021. A cute compact 400 watt drill with no advanced features like direction reversal, variable speed control, this is my choicest unit on a drill stand with external speed controller and works with no vibration, jitter ,over heating etc . It is a wonderful machine at such low price. Of late I burnt the field coil due to overloading while drilling a 32 mm hole over a hard wood by hole saw. All repairers refused to repair but due to obsession I could rewind the coil myself and restore it. Although a new one as this recent purchase is just stand by.My advice : buy it with no hesitation.Make : company writes Indian make but carton reads PRC.Yes, the packaging has been greatly compromised now a days as my 2021 machine came in a neat thermocol moulded package and now in a torn mutilated paper packet with a Amazon sticker !

I used it. I am satisfied but. It vibrates a lot. If some one is using drill machine for the first time be prepared for the turbulence while drilling. If someone is a professional then experience could be different. On concrete this machine struggles and which makes it less appropriate for drilling on concrete. The drill bit quality may also affect the drilling experience that's what the shopkeeper told me when I bought the drill bits seperately. In my case as I was a beginner so I purchased the cheapest drill bits for metal and concrete and used them. For wood a drill bit comes in the box with the machine along with the key to fix and unfix it in the machine. After fixing the wood drill bit in machine when I was using it for 5 continuous minutes the bit came out of the machine I again fixed the wood drill bit in the machine and kept using the results were good and operation on wood was smooth as compared to concrete. 4 star for work on wood. 4 star for price (INR 760 Nov. 2024) it's good even if someone is buying for 900 or 1000 because I found the entry level drill machine in the market of very poor quality. 4 star for delivery time (2-3 days without prime). 2 star for the 6 month warranty as there was no helpline number mentioned on the product box packaging.

Drill machine is good but drill bit, carbon brush are not in box

Bought 3 different products of the same brand ( Foster) and all of them have surprised me with their superior machinery.. Perfect hold and ease of use.I was a bit hesitant before buying but Foster proved me wrong.

Price was okay but it does not come with the accessories as it shown as the image.

Worth for the money we pay.

the item was already opened. It is not new and must have been already used and returned by someone else. too big, unusable for home. and non working condition
