Excellent product
Took me a while to post a review because I wanted to see if it really did make any difference. It does! I absolutely don't do water tests for all the minerals diffused by these tablets, but they have absolutely turned my corals around since I don't do dosing of chemicals/minerals via dosing pumps and bottles. My corals are looking so much better and my water is running damn near perfect from the tests I do run. I'll be buying the bigger blocks from here on, but these are fantastic for smaller tanks. Just toss em in and they'll diffuse as needed.

OK blocks
I actually liked these blocks. All the negative about them is over stated. Always test and get to know a product no matter the review. I had to increase alkalinity supplement but this was easy enough. I use less additives with No 28. I use less blocks than instructed as well for a nano.

Just buy it! Stick one in your reef tank.
Oh man, this product opened up my finicky coral for the first time in a few weeks. Everything seemed fine, and I didn't want to start chasing specific parameters outside of the basic necessities since the majority of my corals were looking fine. I tried this after being recommended it and wow, if you have a reef tank, you need a couple of these in there. Worked within thirty minutes, so i'm sold. My toadstools are all thriving again! I did 2 in my 45g to start with.

Amazing!
This is a very old product and has been in the reefing community for a long time. Its still being used now so that should tell you a lot. I love it. Its so easy to use and saves me money and time. Between this and water changes i do not need to buy any dosers or dose calcium. I have some sps but mostly lps and some softies. They all do great. I use the following: reef ab+ (and coral food/reef roids, reef frenzy lrs), sea lab 28 blocks, phytoplankton seachem, dr tims waste away gel, and seachem reef plus to add extra amino acids when i feel like. Thats it. Nothing crazy or fancy. Works well for me. Def buy these. You can spend the money and time on precise testing and dosing if you want. But for me i just use these

Must Have!
At first I was very skeptical about using sealab 28 blocks just because I’ve always used liquids for this but having less time on my hands for dosing I needed something that would save me time and money. I came across these when I had my 45G up I used the larger blocks and they worked like magic. Started to use these on my 13G reef tank with coral and two fish and these work perfect!! I recommend replacing them when it is near finished and you’ll be fine. Coral and fish look great and the tank is thriving, this is perfect for beginners with smaller tanks . Wish I would have started off with these blocks vs liquids and once you get your PH where you want it add the block in after and it helps keep the PH stable.

Works as it should
Works great when you have to leave for a few days because you hand dose and just drop one in
